- Details of Urban Extension Road (UER-2)
This is 75 km Delhi project, this is an under construction expressway (NH-344M) by NHAI which in Phase 1 will form a 38 km 3rd semi Ring Road within Delhi along its western boundary.
The project was planned in the early 2000s by DDA as part of Delhi’s 2021 Master Plan, but was handed over to NHAI in 2018 after it failed to take off due to land acquisition and financial issues. DDA will now provide viability gap funding worth Rs. 4000 crore.
The project also features two spurs (NH-344P) to Bahadurgarh Bypass and to Barwasni Bypass in Sonipat. A 7.5 km section of UER 2 is currently under construction by J Kumar Infra Projects as part of Dwarka Expressway’s packages 1 and 2.

Its Current deadline is December 2024
• Total Estimated Cost: Rs. 8000 crore

• Lanes: 6 lanes (main expressway) & 4 lanes (spurs)

• Owner: National Highway Authority of India (NHAI)
• Status: Under Construction, more than 80% complete till now, package 3 is ready and handed over to NHAI but not opened for public, package 4 & 5 are almost ready, package 1 will take 2-3 more months to complete, package 2 is taking time, package 2 is most challenging package, lots of structure work in this package beside this there were lots of obstacle in this package.
• UER 2’s alignment in the north starts from NH 1 (Km. 23.800) near village Bankoli and terminates near the junction of Sector 24 in Dwarka. Its route will connect old NH-44 (old name NH-1), NH-9 (old name NH-10) & NH-48 (old name NH-8) via Bawana Industrial Area, Rohini, Mundka, Najafgarh and Dwarka to provide seamless access between north, northwest Delhi, IGI Airport and Gurgaon.

The project has been divided up into 5 packages.
Package - 1
NH-44, Village Bankoli to Karala Kanjhawala Road, length 15.70 km
Chainage : km -0.700 to 15.00
Construction Compnay - HG Infra
Status : In finishing stage, more than 95% has been completed
Package - 2
Kanjhawala Karala Road to Nangloi Najafgarh road near Nangli Sakrawati, length 13..45 km
Chainage : km 15.00 to 28.450
Construction Company : Krishna Construction Co. Pvt Ltd
Status : 80% work has been completed
Package - 3
Nangli Sakrawati to Dwarka Sector 24, length 9.66 km
Chainage : km 28.450 to 38.11
Construction Company : Gawar Construction Co. Pvt Ltd
Status : 100% completed, handed over to NHAI (inaugurated in March 2024)
Package - 4 Sonipat Spur
Bawana Industrial Area to Badwasni Bypass, length 29.66 km
Construction Company : RKCPL
Status : 99% Complete
Package - 5, Bahadurgarh Spur
Dichau Kalan to Bahadurgarh Bypass, length 7.269 km
Construction Company : SS Builders and Diamond Construction (JV)

भैया मैजेंटा लाइन की भी अपडेट दे देना केशोपुर, पश्चिम विहार और पीरागढ़ी का । बाकी पिंक लाइन का भी अपडेट दे सकते हो, सूरघाट से लेकर मौजपुर बाबरपुर तक। ये भी सूचना दे देना कि पिंक लाइन में मजलिस पार्क से जगतपुर गांव तक मेट्रो कब संचालित की जाएगी।

Paani ki samasya do hain. Ek to saara ilaaka neecha hai aur natural flow of water ruk gaya hai illegal colonies ban jaane ki waja se. Sewer line upar hai, zameen uss se neeche hai, aur rahi sahi kasar sarkar ne chaaro taraf unchi sadak bana kar poore area ko ek jheel mein badal diya hai. Underground water level itna upar hai paani zameen mein jaata hi nahi, sir evaporate ho paata hai ya pump out kiya jaata hai.
Meri dadi Rasoolpur se thi, apni kaafi zameen Majri gaon mein thi jis par ab Bhagat Singh colony bas gayi hai. Karala mein bhi rishtedaari hai hamaari.

कराला मुंडका रोड से लेकर मुंडका रेल्वे लाइन तक खेतों में पानी का लेवल 2-3 फुट ही है, लगता है कि सारी कालोनियों का पानी खड़ा हो रहा है अब।
PWD ने जब इस प्रोजेक्ट पर काम किया तो उन्हें पानी को रोकने के लिए जमीन से 8-10 फूट नीचे कंक्रीट का बेस बनाना पड़ा फिर मलवा मिट्टी डालकर पानी को ऊपर आने से रोका गया तब काफी समय बाद लोकनायक पुरम से मुंडका मैट्रो स्टेशन तक सड़क बन पाई।

आदरणीय UER 2 का प्रोजेक्ट पहले PWD के पास था PWD ने जब इस प्रोजेक्ट को शुरू किया तो UER 2 का पेकैज 2 वाला हिस्सा बहुत ही मुश्किल प्रोजेक्ट था इस प्रोजेक्ट में तीन मुश्किलें थी पहला मुंगेसपुर नाला दुसरा रोहतक रेलवे लाईन और तीसरा आपने पूछा की इस क्षेत्र में पानी क्यों है क्योंकि यहां पर पानी जमीन के लेवल पर ही है जो बरसात के समय जमीन के ऊपर ही रहता है जिसे सूखने में 10 से 12 महीने लग जाते हैं।

are both carriageways open for public on package 1? Can we travel to and from heliport to alipur via UER 2?

Sir if possible can you give drone view every 2-3 days of mungesh pur drain? I know this means extra trouble and time for you (even a YT short will work) but if possible then would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the update
