Thanks for this reaction. ATEEZ has one of the best Lores/Universes built in kpop. References are currently made in HALAZIA to HALA HALA, SAY MY NAME, ANSWER, GUERRILLA, and NEW WORLD. It is a Post-Apocalyptic future after a war against a totalitarian government, and now they are facing a cult and the total liberation of ignorance. Oh well, that's what I think... sorry4mybadenglish. This UNIVERSE is... the reality is that the theories are so extensive (like the blue bird is missing, the pirates lose a comrade and blah blah blah) that I can't put everything in a comment P.D. the dance performance is AMAZING
The best way to describe Halazia is that it’s soooo satisfying and it highlights all the members beautifully (it has the most equal line distribution out of all their discography). Personally, I think the song hits all the right spots…it most definitely is the sweet spot of their sound :) Halazia easily made it to my top 2 along with Inception
Their songs are just so inspiring // you always feel like you have been through a cool adventure after watching them. The video is so dramatic, and I love it. They really pull you into their story. They are so talented. YAY ATEEZ
The ending seemed to go hip hop > EDM > drum and bass > dubstep. So fascinating! And they all shined in this song, but Yeosang really stood out for me!
HALAHALA IS THE OPPOSITE OF HALAZIA Halahala (Sanskrit): 'black mass' or 'time puzzle') While Zia means “light”, “splendor” and “glow”. You are welcome. and YES, ATEEZ SLAY
I believe SPIN OFF is about past (cause Fedora man aka Seonghwa already saved Yeosang so why was he still in chains?) and that scarecrow is actually HALATEEZ (who are supposedly dEd💀) and ATEEZ are in death ceremony or mourning for the death of HALATEEZ. Like you can feel the atmosphere how teaser 1 ended, it was like they were mourning for the death. And that PALGAN-SAE, the blue bird is a symbolism of hope that they still have after the death of HALATEEZ. I cried watching sanniesss part too. Omg. My brain can't handle any of this amazing storyline anymore. But i saw something on the bird app which explains Sanniesss scene at the mv. It goes like this: "The resistances who revolted against the government tried to pull the chain to bring the moon down (the eye watching them) but they failed. San gave up on his life to save everyone alone. he was so desperate and screaming in pain." And san’s magnificent acting gave me goosebumps. I think they should give san another acting project. APPLAUSE ATEEZ FOR ANOTHER WORK OF ART. 👏❤ . for the heartwarming reaction and kisses from Brazil. 💋
We don't know quite yet what HALAZIA means. HALA HALA is one of their first songs that introduced their alter egos HALATEEZ. They have a very detailed, very big storyline that goes all the back to their debut with "Pirate King" and "Treasure." Now this storyline has only been revealed by a 1/3 according to their captain Hongjoong. Short version of what we know so far, they are pirates with a ship that flys thru the sky, they are after something called a Cromer (an hourglass) that can control time. However, they are not the only ones after it, there are these guys that ATINY call the white giants, they have been in several videos and performances. However, HALATEEZ gets their hands on the Cromer first and somehow (we are not sure how) it breaks. Which stops time. That is why Mingi says that they are stuck between the present and the future. They are in a post apocalyptic world where it is controlled by the "Moon," or the "Eye in the sky" that they try to bring down. We know that gravity is unstable, but if you watch their last comeback "Guerilla," it sets up to this one, and at the end of this video, one of the San, sacrifices himself to saves the others. But they also need witnesses. That is who you see at the end on the roof. And you can't forget the Bluebird flying above them. Their current album, called spin off : Witness, their last song is called Outro:Bluebird. Oh one last thing, this video is a spin off of the main storyline. Another angle and route for our guys. Now there are theories everywhere about this. I have read that Zia means light in both Latin and Arabic. And a Korean couple who broke down the lyrics said it was like a prayer.
I also feel like halazia is the new ateez since now being halateez they aren't making quite the progress and hence the halateez was burnt, i feel like it all started in say my name where they gather to form halateez and hala hala was the end of their halateez versions but it happened way before we realized, in the lyrics they even said "suicide squad is the reality", coz maybe they died..???
Yep I'm also agree at when they said the song was like a prayer..especially in that "Hala Hala Hala Hala Halazia" part...when they did the second part of that part (the part before Jongho verse)...the choreo is just like they're praying..also "be the light , oh Halazia
Some music producers react to this and they said ateez combined drum and bass in this song which is take this song to another level 😃 i no nothing about music stuff but i loved ateez music .. Their beat bit so hard 😍
Ikr !!! I didnt know ateez until I randomly saw this video. Its a masterpiece from a to z I can't get over it ^^ I had this exact reaction on the first Yeosang part ^^ jawdropping and "w... wa... wait what ...??" Music, dance, visual, editing, melody, storytelling... Its incredible.
Thanks for this reaction. I think aside from all the lore the lyrics are so powerful. It’s all about feeling emotionally numb and finding hope. So the song is kind of sad but you also musically feel that hope. Also-dance practice is available-it’s definitely a must watch for this. The dance is just beautiful and powerful.
This MV it's the realization of "“Movement “and ‘the World‘, their previous albums. it's the sequel of Guerrilla. The world lost gravity, and all the emotion are lost and trapped in this ball over their heads. They're the revolutionaries that trying to save the peoples from this darkness and cold world with no feeling and emotions. "The blue little bird that has lost his voice" it's a wonderful metaphor (and the wonderful deeeeeeeep voice of Yeosang, fits it very well), so then there's some group of revolutionary the one ,with Seonghwa ,in WHITE behind the scarecrow ( that has their outfits of Hala Hala MV , it's some kind of "warning" for the citizen, from a" higher power" to not follow them.) and the other groups, in a crave, leading by Jongho all in BLACK, that seems to prepare the revolution. The scarecrows at the end burning that means the beginning of their revolution, and the San put the ball down on him and to the earth , to let the emotion free to return into the world. Wooyoung , San and Yunho seems prisoners in somewhere, and W&S see to have a straitjackets, like a crazy in an asylum. Yeosang is puts into this arena, tangled in this heavy chain like a gladiator, but the think it's he can speak.(the little blue birds lost his voice like everyone in the world) Yunho is in chain in this broken Hourglass (without gravity), thats another things that recurring in all theirs mv, its their symbol. The people in white that disappear at the end, are the witness i supposed, that keep their eyes on them. Burning the Hat of Hala Hala MV,(like burning the scarecrow with the same outfits) means the beginning of a new kind of revolution. This is only my opinion, I know them quite well and I see all theirs video so this is my explanation of this mv. Hope could help you. thanks for reaction.
My heart starts beating so fast when the beat hits at the end I can’t help but feel so excited!!! If Ateez ever comes where I live I’m definitely getting tickets!
I think halazia is like a movement or smtg, 'hala' stands for heart awakened, live alive and 'zia' means light in latin, its like they re praying so tht light can clear the darkness and emotionless world they re in, i saw a reaction video of koreans tht translate the lyrics and said tht it has a vibe of praying manners, thts why there's a lyric 'be the light, halazia', correct me if i'm wrong 🫶🏻
Thank you so much for reacting to the boys, this title track is definitely for me their best release as of yet, I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
With Anana, they could have included songs in the album, but they were satisfied with this song, which really deserves to be on its own, and contented themselves with changing the music of old songs, but something calls for the question. The captain said that they have many written songs. It just needs to come to light
i was waiting for your reaction, you aren’t aware of the cb, no wonder 😂 i understand, they just never stop working lmao. btw yes please react to their live stage, it was epic ❤️🔥
'Halazia' is a song that takes me by surprise, no matter how many times I listen to this art, I am impressed every time, I love this song, Ateez really gave their lives in this MV.
Thank you for reacting to Halazia! RE: is it called an off beat in triplets? The ending is more electronic dub step and gets your heart pumping to make it dramatic.
😭♥ I've seen your other reaction videos and I must say you're kinda meticulous or hard to please ✌ so I'm really happy you liked HALAZIA! Yes, please check out the dance practice. I'll be waiting. Happy New Year Aaron!
For once I won't absolutely rave about Seonghwa but tell y'all LISTEN TO THE HIDDEN VOCALS FOR HALAZIA, I BEG YOU!!! Halazia literally was a giant family project. Not only did EDEN, BUDDY, LEEZ and OLLOUNDER composed and arranged the song and Hongjoong and Mingi co-wrote it with them but our baby MADDOX co-wrote, composed, arranged AND sang 99% of the adlibs and harmonies AND LET ME TELL YOU, IT IS A MASTERPIECE!!! MADDOX- the hidden KPOP vocal king ISTFG PLEASE LISTEN TO IT ❤️
The beat at the end has been used in a ton of songs lately, i also dont know what its called. Does anyone know? the first song that comes to mind that has that beat is space mulan by bebe yana. Its so good i love that its becoming a trend

the drum and bass to essentially a hardstyle beat goes nuts.
The ending seemed to go hip hop > EDM > drum and bass > dubstep. So fascinating!

Yeosang's lines 🛐🛐
Same Aaron, even Ateez Japanese song 'paradigm' has been sticking in my mind but now they dropped another masterpiece 'halazia' and it's super epic🔥
blessed with yeosang's low register voice

i was waiting for your reaction, thank you so much!!!
For once I won't absolutely rave about Seonghwa but tell y'all LISTEN TO THE HIDDEN VOCALS FOR HALAZIA, I BEG YOU!!!

am so happy yeosang shined more here and him owning this era
9:49 that specific fast drum-like sound you’re talking about are a breakcore’s (the music genre that was used there) elements
you'd quite enjoy the Halazia Dance Practice
Great choreo✨️
I wish more was shown it's so on theme
ATEEZ never disappoints.
I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time like the way you are reacting to everything is so cute🐇
Aggression with hopeful undertone. Adding that to my self description. 😌
thank you for your honest reation. yes I love ATEEZ too and yes I am an ATINY and yes ATEEZ is an all-rounder.
3:42 the reaction of all atinys
They are all connected. But to get a better understanding, watch the prologue
There're many videos abt their Storyline so u can watch them and understand the connection between their songs
when he said that he is feeling a soft vibe with high pitch, i was like, yeah, wait for yeosang.🙃
Interesting that they made the outro a drum n bass into hardstyle
That part you were talking about might be Drum and Base and then it switches to EDM after (the dance break)
The beat is used by Rudimental a lot ..chk out waiting all night by Ella myre and rudimental - genre - drum and bass - DnB
Ateez is different 🔥🔥
14M VIEWS for in just 24hr
The beat at the end has been used in a ton of songs lately, i also dont know what its called. Does anyone know? the first song that comes to mind that has that beat is space mulan by bebe yana. Its so good i love that its becoming a trend
Maybe there's a friendly competition between Yeosang and Felix for them low notes
Happy new year. Aaron.
Love this reaction 💘
