I feel like with ATEEZ, they don't make pre-song spoilers. While some groups do, and you're like, "eh, too much information," ATEEZ seems to give out the lore and the visuals without ruining the song. I'd highly recommend watching all their pre-comeback stuff just because you see so many other things. It's a truly unorthodox song layout, but somehow it makes you anticipate the next part, because it comes too early into the song for it to be an end. I just love it so much. It's my new song of the year, despite it being the last of the year. Every thing that makes ATEEZ amazing is here -- killer raps, performance on point, lore advancement, visuals, Yeosang with freaking LINES, vocals, addictive hook, the high notes, the choreo. I'm so in love. Thanks for sharing your reaction!
yeah stray kids/itzy are some of my ult groups, but lord jyp ent does their best to spoil the entire song in the teasers. It's annoying bc it's hard to resist checking out teasers when it's one of my fav groups, but I feel like it's so much better experiencing songs blind. tbh I didn't actually check out any of the teasers for this song beforehand (though it took all my self control lol), and experiencing it with no expectations was amazing. and yes.... yeosang slayed this song. his part of the prechorus is easily my fav part of the song bc of how good his voice sounds. I'm so excited for the live perfomances/dance practices when they come out, bc just from what the mv shows the chorus is INSANE (that seonghwa center part in the second chorus, good lord)
100% this. We can easily say with confidence that there is no other group that captures ATEEZ's unique style. They are standouts in every way. As artists and as people with kindness and humbleness in the industry. So happy to have seen them grow these 5 years. And damn their live performances. Biggest thrill of my life.
With guerilla, I felt like the structure of the song was exactly like guerilla warfare: you never knew what and whom and when you would be hit. This one is very surprising as well structure wise, but they told us there was no gravity: things are upside down (you notice it with Wooyoung turning his hand and then Yunho in the cromer with the rocks going up). The structure of the song, for me, goes with it: it’s almost out of order. AND I LOVE IT!
they didn’t release a trailer but they did have a prologue even though it doesn’t explain everything, it gives you a little idea of their concept, especially in this comeback
I feel so early! I’m obsessed with this comeback, I think it’s one of their strongest by far and I can’t wait to see all the theories for how it fits into their lore. My mind is blown rn 🤯 I can’t even think😂
I absolutely cannot wait to see this live. You said about its relationship to Guerilla - for me, this looks like the same/similar universe, but after the revolution, the fall of technology and the big brother state but further in the future. There's the worship of the Halateez who freed everyone but things have gone sideways? IDK, I've read far too many post-apocolyptic novels not to over reach with this MV. If this was a trailer for a film, I'd have front row premier showing tickets already.
I believe Halazia is Halateez's world where Guerilla is Ateez. The A to Z universes. To me, it looks like Halateez are someone defeated but rallying to fight back again for the light. And in Guerilla Ateez are gaining ground. Which is sad because remember Halateez have been travelling to give Ateez tools to save their universe. Like the cromer to Hongjoong. To help make sure their world doesn't end up like that in Halazia. I feel like Halateez are trapped and can't travel now. Lots of clues but it will get long haha
Ateez, Edenary, B B Trippin, Video Editors and Production Company, Makeup artists, Stylists, Assistants, freakin Batistas that helped turn these late nights, into this actual masterpiece ✨️✨️✨️✨️ I thank thee👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 But why do this to me so early in the morning 🤧🫠
Seonghwa is just perfect I dk how else to describe Seonghwa and how I feel about him I just know I love him so much and he recently join my other 3 boys as one of my number 1 ults in kpop!!!
I’m really glad they let yeosang sing with his natural tone of voice/singing, I feel like this is one of his more comfortable lines to sing bc he isn’t forcing his voice higher (not that he is straining or anything he always does a good job) but I feel like this tone is what ateez needed letting yeosang be the baritone vocal he always was lmaoo
Halazia is following the lore and truly gives halateez and the concept of what halateez represents we have entered the realms of the lore where we are now in war and halateez is back I mean that’s what I see it as w following lore but honestly they never disappoint 😭😭💖💖

I think the messiness of Guerrilla was intentional. Guerrilla warfare isn’t nice, neat and predictable. War itself is messy but Guerrilla warfare even messier. When I watched the MV it felt like I was under attack but in a good way. Halazia is about finding hope in the dark, emotionless world. This song has all this darkness but in the structure of the song you get those tidbits of hope. The song and vocals tell the story to perfection. It’s like these two songs are 4 minute musicals telling the story of first warfare and then finding hope in the darkness.
When I listen to an Ateez song I have to listen more than once because it’s like sensory overload-there is just so much happening I can’t take it all in the first go.
Tbh after i see a group in person in concert the excitement of them for me slightly chills out and simmers down with Ateez tho!!!!! i get chillz from head to toe with every sight of them the talent an aesthetic is so unique from anyone else.Atiny is so blessed.
I've seen them twice last year and I have that same feeling. Goosebumps. The power like takes your breath away. And the way Atiny match the energy with the fanchants. Omg. Hearing "BREAK THE WALL" shook the entire arena.
@@vikzytoria Yes in Ft wort we may have been at the same show! sofar the best show ive seen but i got Straykids to see in March in Ft Worth again and im scared hahaha
@@BringSugaTangerineTheDocuments I've been considering those tickets to SKZ! Why are you scared? We MUST have been at the same show!! That's kind of crazy and cool. 💜💜
My problem is.. if you're used to and loving Ateez songs... a lot of other songs sound just so boring. Because in most songs you can predict what will happen and they most of the time follow the same pattern. There's nothing to wait for or get excited about. I was always wondering, why not switching up these same old patterns? That's why I'm listening to Kpop in the first time, there is at least some variation. Though I love Oldies too... because they are so predictable and reassuring XD

I love 20min ASMR they did for Halazia. We were all so confused!
somehow this is the MOST ateez song ive ever heard, but also is nothing like anything they've done before, it's kinda crazy

They came and wiped the slate clean, that's all I can say for Ateez.

ATEEZ songs are so unique
for me Guerrilla felt A LOT messier. i loved both songs but the structure of Halazia flows more smoothly, especially going into the chorus

@@kimdaniel2601 you’re absolutely right. i felt that way too listening to both songs
that small bit you mentioned isn’t in the actual song, it was just included and shown in the mv.
