Hey Oliver ! I just had stumbled on ypur videos and they crack me up , you got that warped sense of humor that I find funny ! Your a mad scientist! I like your videos cuz they have mistakes which we all make when trying to create things that's how you learn. Stay cool and try not to set yourself on fire ! 🔥🤣
Brilliant! I really enjoy your sense of humor, not to mention your mad skills! I have a background in mechanics, but unfortunately, since I’ve retired, I think up projects, and that’s about as far as they go: thoughts! Great to see people actually DOING something with their ideas, no matter how crazy they may seem to be!
Haha 😂 fantastic video Oliver! You had me laughing through this entire video man 😊👍 I’m definitely glad to see you’re making more videos man! Thanks for being you.
Awesome Oliver! Always love the vids where you get the dohickies together with the whatchamacallits and have a working thingamabob in the end. There's no lollygagging in your garage.
I think treadmill motors are more suited, even though it's outside the scope. They have fan cooling the stator and rotor, then are DC permanent magnet, they are commonly 1000W+ They also come with a big heavy steel or cast weight on them that you could "machine" into a pulley, or weld to the teeny pulley that comes on them. Treadmills are common dump finds :)
Wow & very entertaining. But seriously, you need a crank freewheel for the pedals so your feet can remain stationery or you can pedal. Check out the "shift kits" for motorized bikes for ideas. I have one on an motorized bike kit that I converted into a shifter. You are on the right path.
Countless hours in editing, CAD work and engineering of this piece of... and then it's not better then a 250w ebike kit . Why did that remind me of my projects!? Still awesome content can't wait for more.
the day came... so happy to drive a 4 wheel car or truck... ... ... then the motorized bike thoughts came back. then the car became a Trar, invasive Trar thoughts...
iN STEAD OF THOSE TWO WAY BEARINGS YOU CAN 1) GET A BATERIED CIRCULAR SAW AN YOULL HAVE A HORIZONTAL SHAFT LIKE A NORMAL DIRT BIKE OR 2) TAKE THE ATTACHMENT HEAD OFF A ANGLE GRINDER, ITS LIKE A 90DEGREE GEAR BOX AN RUN THAT ON YOUR SAWZALL MOTOR! IT MAKES A VERTICAL SHAFT ABLE TO HOOK UP TO A NORMAL SPROKET JUST LOOK AT A ANGLE GRINDER YOULL SEE IT! JUST A TIP FOR FUTURE BUILDS GBYAA!!!!!!!!!!!
Good to see you back at it 👍👍
Thanks 👍

Hi Oliver I love your channel and recognize your incredible skill and intellect. What is you job?
Hi Scott, thanks for watching! I am a mechanical engineer.
Interesting project thanks for sharing, when I was younger I always wanted to do a air impact gun on a bicycle with a scuba tank and regulator lol.
Oh interesting! It would certainly sound cool lol
I found a sawzall abandoned in the woods and now I’ll be able to augment my bike with the power of one infant
Wooo we can race lol
Dude I miss the videos from you! Always thinking outside the box and trying new odd ways to power something
slowly still making stuff still. thanks for waiting lol
I just heard via Mike Fiesta….You’re back!! Awesome! Love the channel.
Thanks for coming by!
What other tools would make a weird electric bike?
I like how you were saying you felt bad about the sawzall then cut to tearing that thing up halarious

I was thinking of ways to do that for this project but didn't realize they make a kit for it!
Keep at it, really very entertaining.

Haha I think I was more interested in the concept than how well it would perform! Thanks for watching
