Finally here from IG, love the unboxing :) I feel like pen twins, since my winter rain has the same black cartridge :) also sailor has a maintenance kit that avoids water getting I to the section 😀 hope that helps :)
You said that it's the most beautiful pen you've owned. It is really, really nice but my vote would have to go to your BENU Talisman Sakura Cherry Blossoms which I think is spectacular. Your unboxing videos are so much fun, I'm looking forward to the next one even if it means waiting until 2024! 🤗

Last pen buying...but what about fountain pen day? :D I've never had a gold nib pen. The best one I've tried is the Pilot FA nib. Delicious flex with soft touch. *sigh*
Ooh I have that one. A Pilot Custom 742 with a FA nib. I thought I was DONE with buying pens when I got that one. Obviously I didn’t stop, but is such a good one!! Hope you’re able have a chance at owning a gold nib soon! 💛 Oh for fountain pen day… I’ll just admire my collection even harder 😆
I had ink leak into one of my Sailor feed section. 😕 After that, I watched someone load the ink into a converter with a syringe before attaching it to the pen….instead of dipping the nib into the ink. That is how I do it now. It works for me so far! I am also going to check out the Sailor maintenance kit mentioned in the comments. Thank you for your video of this beautiful pen. I do have the Winter Rain in my collection. Love it! 🥰
Oh I didn’t even realize that If I hated seeing the water trapped in there, that I would hate seeing ink even more! Thanks for the tip. I’ll probably be refilling the cartridge that way too. I have for some of my other sailors, but simply because I didn’t buy a converter yet. Thank you for watching. It really is a beautiful pen, isn’t it? 💕😊

Yes I did, I left it out to dry for a few days and also dabbed it with a paper towel to suck up the moisture.
