This is a great video and I was completely surprised to see you used an image of the course I grew up on when my dad was caretaker for 15 years - Wawashkamo Golf Club (right at 6:00 minutes). It was designed in 1898 by Alex Smith, and remains unchanged to this day, making it the oldest original course in Michigan.
Dr. Danneberger, I so appreciate this video, and was hoping you might consider doing more. Would love it if you'd do some videos on all the different periods of golf architecture and their associated architects, and any other topics within golf course architecture that you think may be of interest to those of us who are passionate about gca.

Sand bunkers where sand isn't a local geological feature is just dumb.
