Finally a real review that isn't made by some major motorcycle company/website trying to sell me stuff! Thanks, in the process of buying my first helmet right now.
I personally rode with one of these construct helmets and found it to be very good. Comfort was great and ventalation was amazing, riding my R1. Sorry to hear your experience, am actually going to buy there carbon fibre version as an extra helmet.
That sucks about the helmet. I've been using an Airframe Pro for the last 5 years and it has been my favorite helmet. I wouldn't have bought it except it was on sale for a little over $200 which was a steal. Super light weight and stable in the wind compared to the HJC I used to have.
@@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors Could be. It sucks when a brand lets their quality slide. I used to swear by Corsair computer parts and accessories until a mouse I bought this year failed in a month and a headset started to quite literally fall apart. Happy riding, dude.
What kind of consumer rights is that! Cash refund on faulty goods should be minimum with proof of purchase within reasonable time period. Perhaps this is a reason not to leave things in box too long waiting to try them out, sucks that you have to wait until riding season before buying anything so you can test everything out in quick order
I had a skull's icon back in 2014 and the trim came loose just like yours did, so I had to super glue it, which was messy and ridiculous because my brother paid 400 for that helmet. It ended up saving my life, just not very good quality and apparently they haven't fixed any of those issues a decade later
Long oval? The ICON website says Airframe Pro is "intermediate oval". Wow, I can't imagine how oval the Airflite is as ICON website really says Airflite is "long oval". Maybe Airflite is for Alien to wear rather than human being down on Earth. (I was about to order a Airframe Pro Beastie Bunny, luckily I didn't.)
My helmet I thought was ehh especially for 150.00 bucks but um my helmet seems to be holding up better wow. I left in my hot vehicle while shopping with the wife and eating I ride and met up with her and it's held up awesome. I'm not a fan of the padding. I wish I got the my voss modular helmet though but they were 2 weeks out so I bought local and wish I didn't or so I thought. I'll be getting an ls2 valiant or voss for an upgrade. Mine has held up to ky heat and weather fine even rode in the rain.
@@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors That's great to know cause I am liking the modular design so ls2 is on my list for an upgrade cause how it works. Voss seems awesome and got some nice designs on there non modular.
Wow, I literally had this in my cart ready to buy. So happy I checked this HONEST review. Thanks !!!

Thus the importance and value of a companies quality control
reveille charges you for returns also which is antiquated if you ask me.
Yeah they are behind. Why buy from them when you could go through amazon? Silly.

Interesting! I guess they made em different 5 years ago.

I gave 50 for my white construct with a visor and love it I think it's light as hell
I'd pay 50 for one probably 🤷🏻♂️
My seal came all the way off!!! That piece above my forehead dropped on me too!!!
Junk- that sucks!

Man, just try an Airmada.. it's the best budget helmet I have used.
Yikes 400 bucks for garbage service? Terrible.
I like Nolan helmets for the ratcheting style clasps. They think a lot of them though.
Ill check em out.
Looks pretty bad ass but quality not there clearly
I'd ride, but my eyes are crossed and im not trying to kill people on accident.
Oh man my wife and I are loao. Thank you for the side aches.
@@jackblackpowderprepper4940 no problem man; im here all week.
You don't find an honest review every day 👍🏻
Yeah and they get crushed by the algorithm lol
thanks mate! cheers
Everyone has had that problem with that brand of helmet ill never buy one my friend had the same problem with his
Damn bro that sucks. Did they take care of you yet?
Yeah, albeit not super well. I dont want much to do with revzilla, and nothing to do with icon here on out

Do a video shooting it.... For educational purposes of course.....
I would LOVE to
RevZilla. You're Dead to me now.

They probably changed it 🤷🏻♂️

My old ls2 went through a lot of heat and rainstorms without issue fwiw.

What did you expect... it is a cheap helmet.
