I have black gloss alloys on my white Z4. Painted calipers blue to match blue BMW badges. Only difference is your hubs are silver where I continued the black gloss......great blog.

Planing to put black emblems on my 5 series, this helped to see if it looks good or not, going for the same white/black stuff

Nice video dude! Love your personality and the consistent enjoyment in the videos. As for Mod suggestions for the car, I reccomend getting a ceramic coating/film on the front of your car which protects against dirt and chips in the paint. It also makes it easier to clean the body of the car and get a strong shine.
Yeah i potentially will get a PPF wrap in the near future but I will always get it resprayed as there is a good shop near that give me a good price :)

Hi Brett callipers look great am looking to paint mine after buying my 1 series. How did you get your discs so clean and rust free where wheel studs attach? I've seen alot of BMW's with this problem and its downgrading the look of my wheel. Cheers! 👍

I've thought alot about doing the calipers on my E90 330i SE, but one problem I keep on getting on my car is sticking callipers. I just think that painting the callipers will cause the sticking to get worse / more frequent. I usually have to replace the callipers every 2 years or so due to sticking.

Brett Barnes hi mate, I’m not sure if it’s common on this model, because mine has the M3 wheels from the E46, but in my view painting the callipers is much more likely to cause a seizure of the callipers because of the moving parts / friction with other components within the wheel and brake pad. Don’t want to scare you tho, yours look awesome!

Got a white 16 plate 120d m sport looks like yours but mines standard apart from windows tinted. Like the idea of the black and white. Do you get most of your stuff from Ebay???

I see loads painting calipers but no one paints the hub on the disk and that looks awful as well if it’s rusty

How long did the paint take to dry before you could put wheels back on and drive the car again mate?
Wheels on about half an hour after last coat and then 24 hours before you can actually drive properly

With the stickers, what are they like when the cars getting washed? They peel off, or are they pretty strong stickers?

On my old car I did them myself but I paid £200 for them all on this car

@@BrettBarnesYT I've got a BMW F20 in silver 118i also.. I've done the indicators and the black grille I've got the paint to pain the exhaust and a the mirror caps on its way this week. Tempted to wrap the interior however you can buy carbon fibre trim plates on eBay what's your thoughts on the stereo carbon fibre plates? Also would you put a splitter on?

painting the brake calipers with a brush on paint.. interesting, i’ve acc never seen that before but it looks clean. would be interested to see how it holds up in comparison to spray painted or powder coated calipers
I did it this way as I've seen it done before a lot and they said it was pretty good! Worth a try :) I could always get them powder coated down the line if they chip etc

Yeah I only used 1/4 of the tin and that’s with many coats

Well of course mate. An M car is completely different to M sport which is just a trim 🤣. I’ve had an M5 which is an m car but I’ve also had other BMWs which are have the M sport trim spec
