This is about 3 or 4 years old, but I'm praying someone can help me to KNOW what book the rabbi is reading the info from? I'd like to learn more. Please and thank you souch to who cones across this message. 👍❤
After 1 year I came back to this, so I'll help myself, in case anyone else also wants to know and is not sure at 8:30 the name of the book is said. It's called the meidrash (spelling) this is part of the Talmud. The entire book has 2 parts. The Gemara and Mishna (oral torah) the 2 parts make up the whole book. In the center of the page is a block of text. Surrounding that block is a border of text, making another block of text. Each page is like this throughout the entire book. Hope this helps someone. Midrash is not a beginner text and a lot of background knowledge and content must be learned or things are misunderstood or can bring about false conclusions
