Thank you for showing how to install the pedestal. The enclosed instructions made no sense to me. People like you give the Internet its good name back.
Wish I knew where to get an LG stand for a G4 77 inch, they tell you it voids the warranty if you use a third-party one and something gets damaged, yet make it seemingly impossible to buy one from them in the UK lol
With the help of my brother-in-law, I finally got my new 65" G4 set up ... sort of. I couldn't find the correct size allen wrench to remove my old TV from the wall and mount the new one so I ended up installing the pedestal and putting it in a different room. I'll have to temporarily move my Sony X800M2 so I can watch some movies. No rhyme or reason, but I'm thinking either 2001 (Dolby Vision) or Avatar, for the colors, as my first movie. I realized not many of my Blu-rays are DV compatible...I might have to double-dip and get some of the 4K versions at some point. I hope I can get my TV mounted in my bedroom. I REALLY don't want to have to move all my equipment (AVR, amp, speakers, etc.). That would be a major hassle! So far, 4K You-Tube videos are pretty impressive, given I moved from a 50" QNED to a 65" OLED.
@JD-op6vn The only size they show this particular installation type for is the 65" model. The others are shown laying face down on a flat surface with the thin Styrofoam sheet underneath.
@mattsorrell9386 Only the 55 and 65 inch models of the G4 come with a stand. The stand is not multipurpose, so if you choose to wall mount the TV just store it in a safe place in case you need it down the road sometime.
@AlphaCulture-fz4fq Depends on the screen size. The 55 and 65 inch models come with a stand. The larger models come with a wall mount in the box instead. Keep in mind, this is for the US market and may differ in other parts of the world.
@LitoDx That is correct. The pedestal shown in the video is what comes with the 55 and 65 inch G4 models. The larger sizes in the G4 series come with a wall mount in the box instead. This is for the US market though. Other markets may differ.

However, it has a slight backward tilt, unlike the ST-G4SN65.AUS that is included with the new TV and does not have a backward tilt.
@neiltaylor6645 Yes, the 55" and 65" come with it in the box. The larger sizes still only come with a wall mount, but you can add the stand separately if you choose.
Great tutorial, thank you! 😊🙏 FYI, screws fasten independently, bolts are tightened with nuts. 😉👍
Holy design team, Batman! That has to be one of the most well thought out shipping box and packaging ever.
Thanks for posting this.

@DaveedR Thanks for the kind words. We're happy to hear the video helped.
This video was a HUGE help, thank you so much!😀
Just install it today, thanks for the video

Great Job ! Thx
is it leaning back?
Thank you for the video! It helps a lot 😁
How high is it adjusted? I want to see if my center speaker would fit in front below it. Its 17cm high.
Can you use this method for the 77” model as well (standing up on styrofoam to install stand)
@JD-op6vn The only size they show this particular installation type for is the 65" model. The others are shown laying face down on a flat surface with the thin Styrofoam sheet underneath.
Do you have to use the stand? Does it double-up as a place to fix the soundbar too when wall mounting?

I didn't not got any stand for it . They just mounted it on the wall . Does the stand too comes along with it ????

Let's see if I understand, in the 65-inch model of the G4, is the pedestal that you show in the video already included? 🤔

depends on the country
Can you attach the LG SR-G3WU65 stand ( G3 ) on the new 65 inch G4?
@Malachi44432 We did not attempt to do that, but it does not appear they are interchangeable.

،how to purchase that stand?
Look like LG listened to the public to have a choose to have a proper stand on the G4
@neiltaylor6645 Yes, the 55" and 65" come with it in the box. The larger sizes still only come with a wall mount, but you can add the stand separately if you choose.
@@abtelectronics yes the dodgy stand that was available last year
@@neiltaylor6645Yup I would rather buy a third party stand than use last year's LG stand. Shame LG didn't include the upgraded stand with 77 inch
we dont have it in China
Too bad the 77/83” will be tilted.
Would ❤️ to purchase 1⃣ but unfortunately I don't think that's possible at their prices $5000 outrageous
Wait for a sale. Or if you know anyone that can purchase it for you using their military or school I.d you can can get a pretty good deal.
Yep, sales come in pretty quickly. Getting the 83 tomorrow. 25% off, with $1k (AUD) store credit. So a saving of 35%
