As much as i’d love a luxury bag, I don’t want to dish out all my money when I should be investing. Maybe one day. Thank you for the amazing videos, i’ll continue to watch you regardless ❤
I agree with so much you said, especially about the van kleef hype, Gabriel bag (especially that base), the Bottega shoes, slouchy unstructured bags, etc. I agree about life experiences nowadays. Seems like the “pandemic” helped change a lot of our thinking.
I feel the same when it comes to buying. During Covid when I couldn’t travel yes, I over bought. But now that we’ve been able to travel and we vacationed in Japan this summer after missing it for almost 5 years and we are booked for next spring. So, even though there are bags I’d like to have I’m not going to be buying much before my trip. Plus I really had a great experience vintage shopping in Tokyo and I’d like to do that again.

It’s funny how each person can be in different phases of their lives. After several years of using most of my extra income in travel experiences ( besides the 2020-2021 stop ofc), now I am at a point where I am again interested in luxury. However, due to the ridiculous prices I find myself also being more cautious and thinking about those purchases for 4-6 weeks minimum before going for it.
