Such a moving Alapana! It was a treat for the ears and mind. It was intriguing to watch Gayathri herself observe all that is bursting through her mind and pouring out through her hands on the violin and enjoying it. So much is imprinted in that brilliant subconscious mind! Years of sadhana and sheer genius!

When I was hearing the kApi alapana, which was so very much lilting & divine I got tears in my eyes instinctively...It was so magical & meditative ♥️♥️ kApi is one of the most lilting heavenly ragas & when our Akkas handle these ragas the lilting evocative heavenly effects rises up to infinity!.... Thanks a ton akkas for this most precious musical feast 🙏🙏

What a brilliant composition !! The truly highlight kriti in Kapi. Each time, I hear it, my heart & mind stop at "yento premo ..." !! The serene brilliance of Thyagaraja Swami is shown here. Unless he has experienced true bliss, a composition of this class could not have been made. And, this song and the way its composed, its peace, the lyrical beauty, the choice of the raga, the brigas, the gentle yet subtle gamakas, oh !! all are such spiritually uplifting !!
This is the second I time I see RaGa play the violin and feel so unfortunate that I couldn't experience it all "live". Long live your seva to music !! Long live your tradition of disciples !! Long live your bhakthi and shraddha !! And may the benevolent Lord bless and grace that all these qualities of yours become infectious and spread to all of humanity like wildfire. That is sure to bring about "Soukya" to the all of us.
