    That is five stars all the way around. Beautiful model. Flown very well.

    Impressive!! I think the stills do more justice to the modelling than the video. In flight it is so quick detail is lost but performance is enhanced. Great all round. Respect to those who can do what I couldn't. Thanks for sharing.

    First I was sceptic about a WW2 bird with electric drive. But why not. Spitfire is one of the most beautiful planes ever. And the elegance of the bird is even underlined by the engine. O.k. a 12 cylinder engine in a model plane would be nice as well :-)
    Great video as always! Thanks

    Excellent display! I normally dislike anything electric, probably because it is being rammed down our throats as a earth saving solution, but this really works well, much better than a screaming two stroke, and all wonderfully videoed! Chris B.

      It was a long shot that paid off. I've always been a petrol head but got so fed up with my other Spit (same kit) overheating so there seemed to be only 1 solution left..... no regrets from me lol

    That was absofreakinlutely awesome. Filming as usual was excellent. The sound, the four pointer, and tne tail waggle at the 4 ish minute mark gave me some caveman esque satisfaction. The Spad is one of my top 3 WW2 era airframes. That huge yet graceful wing. Thank you!

    Fantastic plane and great scale flying! But I think you are wrong due to battery setup information. Must be 2x6s in series to give 12s, then the two packages in paralell to dobbel the amp. That will give a 12s 13400mah setup.

    • @tbobborap1

      thanks Terje, no idea - thats what the owner sent me !

    • @philanderson182
      @philanderson182 2 роки тому

      Sorry but you are incorrect. Wired correctly the output stated is correct, 4x6s configured via y leads gives 2x12s then combined gives the output stated

    • @daxdadog
      @daxdadog 2 роки тому

      @@philanderson182 Terje is almost correct. Two 6S 6200mAh wired is series gives 12S 6200mAh. Wire two of those series strings together in parallel, and you get a 12S 12400 mAh battery pack. Current is not doubled with batteries in series, only when in parallel.

    • @philanderson182
      @philanderson182 2 роки тому

      @@daxdadog sorry mate but you are wrong. After a 10 min fly (scale flying not bashing the sky to death) I avg. 45 to 50%battery left when checked. I normally put 2800/3000 mah back into each of the 4 packs so that equates to 11200 to 12000mah to fully recharge. That means you theory would leave my packs on 0% defo not what I see. As I have the usage evidence may I kindly suggest you replace your wind up calculator/abacus with a more modern type that works. End of discussion
