Like your video, I learned a lot. I'm going to be putting a Limb Saver pad on my hunting buddy's son's shotgun soon and the tip on freezing should make it easier. Also like your Gamaliel Shooting Supply cap. They are good folk's I been doing business with them for 45 years.
Very informative but the older eyes needed a bit more light in your video. The sanding outside in the shade and some of the inside work was a bit too dark, but I was still able to follow. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing.......I did virtually the same for my daughter after we shortened her stock (sans the freezer, though I'll remember that for next time)
Well.....just performed this task on a kick-eze. Instead of the belt sander, I used a bench grinder and a sharpening platform intended for wood lathe tools......worked like a champ!
Oh thank you for changing the camera angle. Your water heater install was about to throw me into convolutions. Please have someone fix your T&P before you need it and it doesn’t work and goes boom.
Thank you for the video. I'm getting ready to cut a stock down and install the Gracoil system with a recoil pad. Do you know of any videos showing how to do the Gracoil system?
Thanks for the guide. I'll need to adjust stock length on my daughter's gun as she grows so the vid was really helpful. I noticed the pad was angled on the gun. Is that to introduce a bit of cast?
The angled spacer was to adjudt for the pitch of the pad. The cast would be if the stock had a bend to the left or right relative to the direction of the barrel. Thanks for checking out the vid!
Finally a video where someone does it with a handheld belt sander. Doing this today. Thanks!
Good job. I don't think I have the patience to do that, but you did make it look doable.
Very helpful, thanks! A lot more fun and cost effective than using a smith.
Like the freeze job I'll be trying it
This was really cool to watch. Thank you!

The scribe sound effects made this for me😄

I bought my grandson a Henry 45-70 for graduation. He MAY want one of these after seeing his EYES OPEN WIDE when he shot it the first time...LOL

Good job grinding, Looked like it was crooked when on the gun stock
