I just buy this monitor few days ago, and just like u i was shok when i saw red line and flickering my also randomly go black screen off and on. i try 3 hdmi cables and nothing, and then finaly i was check with one fat cable i used to for my ps4 and then work :) unreal stupid stuff.. but my old hdmi work with monitor and ps4 but does not work with my pc... so better buy a good hdmi cables guys dont go with cheap ones.. Hi how ergonomic is the OSD? Where are the keys to enter it and makes it work? I ask because I've an Ozone screen which is great but the OSD with back screen keys is awful to navigate and I'd like to get a screen which has both beautiful display and ergonomic controls. Thanks for the video.
i would say the main problem with it is if yo u enable 1ms in the monitor settings, the brightness is wayy to low. if your looking for a low ms respond time this isnt the monitor for you. other than that its really good

1:13 almost all monitors support 144hz for hdmi, i havent ever seen one that lets you use 165hz on hdmi but ill still give it the benefit of doubt

Hdmi has had many revisions, it’s not just “hdmi” it’s hdmi 1.4 which sadly only supports 1080p 120hz. To get full 165 Hz you need to use DP.

The stand that comes with the monitor does not have height adjustment, only tilt.

The one I reviewed in the video is flat. I believe that ViewSonic also makes a curved version that is similar to this one.
