sounds awesome once again!!
Just another reason why Derek is my all-time favorite player.
This has a wow factor of 11 (1 louder)!
Beautiful band!!xo
Awesome Derek,awesome band........
I was at this show and they were like this all night. You could tell they were having fun and digging every single tune they played. What a band!
Thank you Jesus. I wanna quit my job, climb in the VW micro bus and follow them on tour. We just need a sermon and a collecion and it would be just like "church." Susan seems to have he most fun doing Gospel
???
Wonderful concert tonight in DC @ the 9:30 Club where we saw the Susan Tedeschi Band open for Jonny Lang about 14 years ago!
You all move me on so many levels. Thanks for sending this out. Much love and respect.
If this song gets your get up & going , gone like it has mine that's all that should matter , thanx DTB !!!☕️🎤🎸❤️
It's The TTB not The DTB.
4:18! the groove is already cooking and then Tyler moves to the ride cymbal and we have lift-off! The Falcon!!!!!!! :)
Crazy good group. Derek's timing in that solo is amazing!
Superbe album bravo je vous adore de France
Just another Good old song Amazing ✌💙
I love this band so much. I love Susan's singing. I love Mike Mattison's singing... I love Mark Rivers singing....
God damnit Trucks is unbelievable
Want to hear Derek and Susan do "All Along The Watchtower". Can you imagine Derek playing watchtower???????
Lucky you! She is among the best, add her amazing husband on guitar & the combined band & we easily have some of the greatest music made today, as well as all time!
Love it
Patty Bradford---try to find the Studio version of the same song by "Derek Truks"
It is even 100 times nicer. And the song has been covered by many others. Rita Coolidge, for ex.
So fantastic!
wow amazing vocals!
always nice to be remain positive
I have never heard them either but like them band is great to
this is what life feels like
Aunt Sue knows how to rock!
I need your sweet inspiration
I need you here on my mind every hour of the day
Without your sweet inspiration
The lonely hours of the night just don't go my way
A woman in love needs sweet inspiration
And honey that's all I ask, you know, that's all I ask from you
I gotta have your sweet inspiration
You know there's just ain't no telling what a satisfied woman might do
When you call me, baby, baby
It's such a sweet inspiration
The way you call me darlin', darlin', darlin'
Sets my heart to skating
And if I'm out in the rain, baby
And in a bad situation
You know I just reach back in my mind
And then I find your sweet inspiration
Sweet inspiration oh what a power
And I've got the power every hour of the day
I need your sweet inspiration, yeah
To go on livin' to keep on givin' this way
Sweet, sweet inspiration
Sweet, sweet inspiration
sweeeeeet thank you
love that outfit Susy
this is sublime
it's gramy nominee Susan and her top 20 guitarist of all time husband.
Yes.. hallelujah
Susie is really getting into the groove isn't she!!
DTB and STB > TTB: best merger ever!
Lucky you, Anna!!!
♥♥♥
Delicia de som!!!!
Where was this show?
Anyone have the bass tabs for this song?
Derek doesn’t use a pic ? Does he ever use a pic ? I thought you always use a pic with an electric guitar ?
Sorry that in 3 years nobody answered you. Derek has never used a pic. There's a great video of him as a 13 year old playing Layla with a slide and no pic. Some of the greatest players didn't use pics, Jeff Beck among them. Many famous players did, like Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton. I guess it's a matter of what you get used to. I've tried to play a little without one, but for me, it's difficult. Hope that helps.
so very fine
I watched them perform on here but never heard of them....which one is the lady in black married to??? I guess I just know the oldie groups....because I am a senior citizen..............OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!
Hi, Susan is married to Derek Trucks, the guy playing guitar, they have two beautiful kids
I have never heard of this group or this song?? What's wrong with me?????
Patty Bradford They are absolutely one of the best live touring bands right now. I've seen them twice - this last tour was particularly amazing. They just killed it.
Saw the Derek Trucks Band in a small venue in the past as well. He's something else. Together with his wife and her voice and this great band.. so great.
Just introduced a friend to them. She said the same thing! They are, without a doubt the best in the business!
Patty Bradford ...Originally recorded by The Sweet Inspirations in 1967 led by Cissy Houston , Whitney's mother with Myrna Smith , Sylvia Shemwell and Estelle Brown. Recorded at American Sound Studio in Memphis.
I love them. their shows are the best. Great mix of original, classics, rock jazz, blues Gospel. If yo uhave a chance. See them live.
Written by the great Dan Penn.
Is this susan tedeschi ?
Yes
woah...
I wish she was my auntie!
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
I'd love her as aunt, cousin, sister ....wife ! Because than I'd be Derek! Just how to explain that to my kids...hahahaha
Man, I miss the DTB. It was a sad day when Derek decided to abandon his original band.
no it's better.
You are lucky girl to b able to call Susan Aunt Sue!! Very Cool :) lucky lucky lucky:)
Great vocals but the guitar solo sounded like a duck frantically quacking. It broke the mood.
I love susan tedeschi but somehow to me she dont fit here
Whoopty Doo she fits. She fits right beside her husband whether it’s music or washing clothes.
She is all about Gospel. She has said in interviews if she could only do one genre of music it would be gospel and she got her professionAal start in a touring Gospel group. This is an awesome performance.
Derek recorded and released this with his solo band in 2009, 'Already Free'. Susan sang back-up on the studio recording.
Nah she doesn’t fit. She’s too loud and drowning his voice.
are you single?
Weak gospel
