@@joshuajonker1909 in Malaysia, an equivalent type of pvc to schedule 40 is the UPVC Sirim 1.white with thick walls compared to the grey pipe that we usually find here. Usually quite expensive. Get the ones stored inside the shop, avoid those displayed outside/outdoor due to potential UV damage

Depends where u are from, here in Malaysia it’s advisable to use SIRIM1, elsewhere it could be called schedule 40

Salam Tuan. Saya pernah buat sendiri guna paip kelabu. Dalam seronok guna, meletup pula. Alhamdulillah serpihan terkena cermin mata sahaja. Selepas tu takutdah nak buat. Huhu.. Paip PVC di Malaysia ni sesuai ke tidak sebenarnya tuan?
Kemungkinan Paip yang tuan guna sudah lama. Sebaik nya guna pvc yang Baru (kalau kat kedai hardware tu pastikan pvc tersimpan di dalam kedai, Bukan di luar. Sinaran UV Matahari boleh pereputkan pvc. Masa buat bow, pastikan tiada kesan terbakar atau calar halus. Kalau nak lagi tahan Pakai paip putih SIRIM 1

@@abudhameer8358 setiap busur pasti ada yang patah. Jangka hayat pvc tidak lama.. sekitar 1 -2 tahun jika dibuat dengan betul. Untuk tahan lama pastikan PVC berkualiti, pembuatan busur kemas dan kenal pasti panjang dan ketebalan PVC yang terbaik. Jika patah, buat sahaja yang baru :) setiap busur yang kita buat pasti kita akan pelajari sesuatu yang baru. Harus ingat, keselamatan diutamakan. Gunakan cermin mata keselamatan, sarung tangan, dan penutup mulut.

hey, how long a pipe should be if i want to make bow from one piece no seperate parts and also i want my bow able to survive 30 inches of draw lenght.
try 52" but you would need to reinforce the handle section, if not the bow may twist
Eureka Archery Thank you, i have another question how thick were pipe walls, i know diameter and rest of things
Robin hood it may be called differently, but i use class 6 or 7, or better still to use schedule 40, the thicker the walls would actually reduce the efficiency of the bow, as there is more mass across the limb section.

Saya di muar johor tuan...saye google td paling kecik 1 1/4 inci...
boleh tuan, tapi bow kena buat panjang sikit, tak tertarik beratnya kalau pendek mcm bow dalam video ^
untuk UPVC SIRIM 1, total panjang bow 5 kaki. Yang penting masa flattening, kena betul2 tapered. UPVC lebih susah untuk dibentukkan berbanding pvc kelabu, tapi jauh lebih tahan.
Bow tg tuan buat tu tahan brape lame tuan??...sbb saye.plan nk pendekkan dr 42" ke 38"...agk2 tuan ms draw nti patah x??
boleh buat, tapi kena buat deflex di bahagian handle, jadi bow dah siap bengkok sikit untuk memudahkan tarikan. Patah atau tidak bergantung kepada pembuatan dan bahan mentah yang bagus, selalunya bow PVC patah atas sebab2 tersebut. Antaranya kalau kita beli paip PVC yang ada di luar kedai, ianya tentu rapuh sebab dah terdedah kepada cahaya matahari (UV). Bow dalam video ada lagi... sekali sekala pakai
