I think the CONS should be limited to comparisons with other local cities/towns. The heat isn't a Venice con for example when comparing to Sarasota but may be a con compared to Michigan.

Me too. I lived here 4yrs ago when I moved to Florida. I am currently in Central Fl. Will stick it out one more year then move back to Venice .
