In my mind : The Highway, cars so close. Speed. Robert de Niro driving. Helicopter. Al Pacino. Coffee between us. What a movie. "HEAT"; Pleased to hear it again in a such good movie as Equalizer.
I have seen this 31 times. We can learn each time. I watched the original British series in the 80’s. No one can be Robert but Denzel Washington 💯💯💯🌙💋💋💋
This brings me back to Heat. Al Pacino as Detective Vince Hanna chasing down Robert DeNiro as Professional Criminal Neil McCauly down a dark LA, California highway, then going out to coffee together. Love that movie, in my Top 3 Favorites of all time!
Rick Vaughan "Heat" was a re-make (the original was the 1989 TV movie - 'LA Takedown'). Whilst "Heat" isn't a bad film - except for the totally silly ending - it's therefore hardly worth being listed as a "Top 3 Favourites of all time" movie! Incidentally, I was working in Santa Monica at the time as they were filming the scene between Neil McCauley (DeNiro) and Eady (Amy Brenneman) in "Broadway Deli" - McCauley, "lady, why you so interested in what I do and what I read?" And as an extra piece of trivia - the DeNiro/Pacino movie 'inspired' the real-life North Hollywood shoot-out between two heavily-armed bank robbers and the LA Police in 1997.
@TheSoulTwins Its not up to you to say what "should" or "shouldn't" be on someone's top tier list. You don't have to have it on yours, but please don't dictate it to others. Best Regards.
@@robertdochter277..........Oh hum. Dear Mr Pedant - can I suggest that you learn to R-E-A-D [and/or comprehend]? I merely state that it's hardly worthy of being in a 'Top 3 favourite films' list due to the silly ending. Diana Epah Possibly.. 'Midnight Train to Georgia' by Gladys Knight & The Pips. If that's not it, do a search for 'The Equalizer soundtrack' and have a listen through the songs :)

A true mafia movie go to Fawesome 22 Bullets! True I will tell you he lived to be 89.Amazing what French detective let him Do. True story 22 Bullets!
Such a powerful song... I remember when I first looked for it and discovered it was by Moby... love this man and all the stories I could create in my mind thanks to his music... MUSIC SAVES \m/
The guitar riff sounded familiar.... Just realised it was a actual Song... so emotive so purposeful.... One way or the other, Brother you are going down.
I always loved this song,it was a perfect fit for HEAT, that movie has one of the baddest shootouts ever filmed for the big screen(if not the baddest!).
@@GoldKingsMan @silverkingukable I'm going to be watching again as well in the coming days with the 4k re release. If you got a good surround sound setup, the bank heist turned up to 11 is just, insanely intense!
With this song this i see myself walking out of my school in the last day like I was living a movie. sad empty unhappy. like as if I was John wick but without the killing just the exhaustion and stress and anger and sadness of giving it my all in school. my flesh sweat and tears just wanting to graduate and finish school already. this is how I see this song in my point of view.
Moby did joy division right...I like this cover. Joy division was the music of my teens and lost decade. gen X a lot of the music had this feel, 80s was my decade
Funny when u think how Eminem used to give Moby so much shit. And I used to prescribe to it in 1999 when I was a 13 year old sheep. Fact is as I age I learn to appreciate Moby's kind of music much more. He is far more passionate and talented than eminem has ever been. Just look what E has turned into these days. I was cringe during that Eminem song at the end credits.
Moby is such a great soundtrack musician.
This song from Heat and Equalizer
The song from the Bourne movies...
Always great
joy division
finnally someone with culture@@Lion-gu7gn
joy division all the time
Absolutely agree with you, so powerful....helps make the movies...
Also from The Heat
Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.
Bomboclat. Best lines in the movie Heat!
...this sigma line makes f€m!n!$t$ bite their nails to bleeding.....
Good phrase but it doesn't apply to real life.
I can name situations you wouldn't walk away from ,even if heat was present.
Sounds like an empty life.
Joy division n ian curtis r the masters
HEAT and Great Equalizer
I never imagined that I would watch this even after 10 years
The Equalizer, man what a movie 😊
Same music as in HEAT!!!
Absolutely thrilling 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Moby is one of the best songwriters for movie soundtracks. Heat/Equalizer, Bourne, The next Three Days... He never disappoint
all from joy division
I miss the Bass in the original Joy Division song. But this version is pretty cool
In my mind : The Highway, cars so close. Speed. Robert de Niro driving. Helicopter. Al Pacino. Coffee between us. What a movie. "HEAT"; Pleased to hear it again in a such good movie as Equalizer.

Now you know how Al Pacino as Lt. Hanna felt(Heat 1995).
HEAT 1995..................
74jedis indeed =)
+74jedis Sounds just like it doesn;t it
I love gta v, remind so much of the movie Heat... The instramental of this should've been it's intro music
Because it is the song from Heat. It's a cover of a Joy Division song.
Musica la casa de papel
This came on my car playlist one night while driving. I pulled a stranger over and invited them for coffee.

Hamza Khaliq saying that isnt remotely funny even as a joke
I was shocked to hear this music again in Equalizer and with Words!!

Denzel Washington - The Great Equalizer
VIELEN LIEBEN DANK...FRIEDEN und FREIHEIT...
Gott segne Dich!
10 years later and i'm still here, time flies..
Indeed, this music is great, perfectly matches with scenes in Heat and Equilizer
20 year anniversary of heat! Good choice of music!
In the confines of my memory, this song will forever be bound to Heat, but it was perfect for Equalizer as well. No complaints to what works.
Image it was a flattering homage from fuqua to michael mann (director of Heat). regardless friend, I'm in agreement.
Bryan Holland Absolutely.
Bryan Holland How you doing?
You do say I buy you a cup of coffee?
Yeah sure let's go.
Follow me.
I wish I could be a detective under zero supervision like Al Pacino's character. That was such a cool scene.
Bryan Holland His rank was Detective Lieutenant so I think in his unit he was basically THE boss.
Great cover of my favorite band. Joy Division!
I miss those days. Semi punk gothic
Toller Film mit toller Musik, vor allem " Vengeance" und die Szenen im Baumarkt. 👍
Brilliant cover of one of my favourite songs / bands

Absolutely reminds me of Heat. This tune fits so well to the highway car chase, I put this when I do night driving on motorways.

This song give me the chills both versions
Thank you for this upload. You picked the perfect thumbnail 👌
Perfect song to end a great movie.
As a massive Joy Division fan, I generally hate covers. But Moby, WOW!!!! I think even Ian Curtis would be be proud of this

Aubrey Penns22 you’re not alone.
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death..."
Joy Division are not often bettered but this is perfect.
This song goes so hard. I don't care for Moby, but he killed it on this track.

Also used this song in the movie Heat.

I mean Guts over Fear wasn't a BAD song, it fit the theme of the movie a bit which worked and Em was giving it his best flow that has been absent
A great tribute to Joy Division... After all, New Order were a total insult to what they stood for tbh... Love it! ❤️
Absolut genial.
Love this song.
After you prove you are the best, often, an Angel from Heaven will counter you.
i love this movie
This ia actuallly not an original Mobt piece. It was first made by Joy Division, but this version is much better. So powerfull..!!
