Amazing they surf and rescue each other all at the same time! 😌 Btw, I never knew the jet ski people are literally the surfers taking turns to rescue each other 😵
They aren’t always other surfers. There are sometimes dedicated water safety personnel for this. I know the north shore lifeguards regularly provide water safety for WSL events on their beaches.
I’ve always worked out and trained even for smaller waves. Most people think training is unnecessary. Well, maybe so. However, when the waves are this large, it’s almost a death wish if you fail to train for it. A hold down even for 15 seconds on a wave of this magnitude can just about kill you and has killed people. When your body is tweaked in ways you can’t imagine and you’re twenty feet below the surface...it takes everything you have to survive that. Dealing with cold water and a wetsuit make it that much harder. Just the mental confidence of training can mean the difference between life and death. Even your diet is a huge factor. Your Cardio better be on point. This level of surfing is just nuts. It’s not just falling on one wave that kills people. It’s the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I’d seriously pray to God before paddling out there. Anything that can go wrong, usually will.
I *tried* to surf some small waves just taller than myself and was beat to crap trying to get out far enough to catch one. I couldn't imagine being in waves from this video. Well, I can image it, I imagine dieing. As you said, be in great cardio shape for sure. I run a lot and who knows, that probably helped me make it out.
So awesome to see others put themselves in harms way to save others. The surfing documentary, Riding Giants, shows how these guys risk their lives for each other because they know if the other was in the same situation they would do it for them too. Love the brotherhood amongst them. Highly recommend seeing Riding Giants on the evolution of surfing.
somewhere out there “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Romans 5:7-9 KJV
A very nice camera video. I wish we could get more of this camera angles. By the way the work and experience of Everaldo is wonderful. All of this guys needs a medal, a gold medal for there bravure.
Pato! Awesome, I can't imagine trying to ride a jetski in surf and foam like that, responsible for saving 2 life's and his own. Surfers are a breed all their own.
Thank you for vid, most beautiful spot on earth, the ocean shows off her majestic power. I was lucky to be put into the ocean as a very new baby by my mom, I adapted instantly, a fish was born. Thanks Mom,RIP
If I was a young buck and knew about big wave surf like these guys know it I would love to run rescue on a wave runner like these guys. You guys rock, surfers and savers. Epic video.
I watched this a few years ago and it terrified yet amazed me so much. Every time I saw a surfing video, I always remember this dramatic and chaotic rescue. Glad to have finally found this video again!!
Hammer ! ... ich war schon genau an der Stelle ohne zu wissen das es da die dicksten Wellen gibt, die Brandung war damals "ruhiger" aber trotzdem beeindruckend gewaltig !!
as a licensed drone pilot, MAD RESPECT to the skills of this drone pilot. Takes one to appreciate the skill it took to capture this dynamic moment on a drone. EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see the other drone pilots giving him props before my comment....
I never surfed a wave over 12 foot in 35 years. I had friends that died surfing two-foot waves and twelve-foot surf. One kid, Richard Starr, had a great life in front of him. Another, Mark Foo, had a television show. The good die young.
That 45 degree left turn that flipped them on the ski was strange. Either way, incredible rescue after that. Madness even being out there, but great rescue regardless
Great footage, and rescue. It is great as it gives context to the location. So many surf videos are too tight (maybe for making the waves appear more imposing), and those make it hard to get a sense of the landscape. At last I can see what Nazaré sort of looks like, with the sandy part and the big rocks. More surf videos should be like this (I would have even appreciated more a wider panoramic shot)
totally agree.. there is not enough overall perspective and continuity in surf videos - Mr Voadara is in another league... a true artist with an eye...
SUBSCRIBED!!! I almost drowned twice, once in Hawaii and the second in Portugal. These videos give me the chills. Awesome footage dude! You really show how big and dangerous it really is out there.
those jet ski guys don't get enough credit.
They are all surfers, they take turns
@@maquinavoadora4090 shiiiiiiiit didnt know that LOL
This is not a play in the park!
It’s not a game little boys like you shouldn’t be in the water
Right on !
Amazing they surf and rescue each other all at the same time! 😌

Same here, I think sometimes they're lifeguards tho
Surfers are the best lifeguards believe it
As a drone videographer I know how difficult this is. Great job! smooth pans, nice framing, and awesome flying - Not easy! Well done!
Well written, I would have been shaking and then fallen off the cliff
@AsSeenOnTV , FY
Imagine if it ran out of battery
@AsSeenOnTV no u
Well yes but mostly well done to the jet skis
This drone pilot is next level. thrilling video and happy everybody was safe. I legit said OH NO out loud when the jetski flipped over
Great drone video! These rescue guys deserve an award too.
True that! They are some of the best in the World
Hey, we have similar names!
Lucas chumbo is one of the best surfers in the world lol

Why do you do it ?
The framing on 0:59 is so on point. Incredible flying and crazy situation
Nothing ugly about these waves. Beautiful, majestic, and awe-inspiring.
Much RESPECT to all my true water men & women. Great Job, 😨👣👌
Give that rescuer a monetary reward and a medal.

A couper le souffle . Bravo pour le courage des hommes !!!!!!
Jet ski rescuers are just as ballsy and just as important as these big wave hellmen/hellwomen.
Pena não haver uma nomeação para os Oscars... "for the best drone footage"
The driver of the ski has amazing skills with it. Inspiring yet scary to watch.
Pure courage....what a braves men...amazing...Nazare...walls of raging water....beautiful....
Idk, those 6 foot Cali waves still freak me out.
That’s cause you have small heart and balls

I don't know what's more crazy: surfing one of these big waves or being the jet ski guy which pulls out the surfers. Both are pretty though!
Wow, impressive rescue work. Bad ass indeed!
Bravo Pedro!!! You saved two lives
Right on, and cant understand any thumbs down. Love people helping people!

An unbelievable save for all three. Lots of guts, drama, and adrenaline
Man that was so dramatic ! Edge of your seat kinda stuff !
THIS GAVE ME SO MUCH ANXIETY I AM SH00K
Absolute respect for the jet skiers.
The backup jetski principle is for situations like this. 👍👍 Great work.
Whoa! That is an incredible rescue, I take my hat off to those jetski riders
All I could say throughout the video “oh!” And “wow!”
This is amazing!!
That current towards the cliffs is brutal. So much moving water ...

Wow! They don’t get enough credit for this job!!
Parabéns pelo prémio de melhor documentário filmado por drone!
Proving how the right filming/editing sucks you in vs just watching a video. Great job!
So awesome. I was once sucked by wave, and people in jet ski save us out.
If I was a young buck and knew about big wave surf like these guys know it I would love to run rescue on a wave runner like these guys. You guys rock, surfers and savers. Epic video.

Até dá gosto ver! O melhor da grande aventura de surfar vagalhões! E como qualquer pato na água, o Pato esteve muito bem!!!

Got to have a nice video downlink to see enough detail to keep the camera on them. Awesome flying and gimbal work. Bad ass rescue crew working there.
Thanks 🙏🏻 yes, flying conditions were not easy that day. Those guys in the water are some of the best in big wave surfing and rescuing.
Looks like you rescue a lot of people while surfing internet from your couch!!! no one asked for your opinion!!!
Kaushal Choudhary who asked for yours?
Wow, way to keep the camera and drone in perfect position to capture this. Very nice.
Free Life Bad ass rescue crew means amazing one
Fearless, good work guys.
Fenomenal work by the drone operator.
This is better than any action movie
Salvamento épico e excelente filmagem
That was top shelf all around - the two surfers, the jet ski driver and the drone pilot! Glad everyone got out unharmed (and the drone ;-)
Awe! Breathtaking ❗️Kudos to surfers ❗️🕊💫

This is the most incredible channel. How do you only have 6k subs. This is going to blow up. Unbelievable footage and production.

I didn't realize I was holding my breath that entire video.
What a rescue. That guy is balls deep
Tremendo susto, más con esa muralla de agua persiguiendo al surfista. Menos mal y todos salieron ilesos.
Awesome rescue job!
