- A journey towards Tirich Mir Base Camp - Chitral. A thrilling travel through the Lowari Pass, Chitral, Turikho and Rich valleys to Shahgrom Village. Glimpses of the trek from Shahgrom to the foothills of Tirich Mir leading to the base camp. Exciting moments of adventure in a naturally rich mountain region of Hindukush.
Beautiful 🩵 I am living in Booni within sight of Terich Mir, but am home for a few months in USA. Warms my heart to be reminded of the landscapes I love.
Shagrum Polo match is fabulous and we were so blessed to see it and the excited spectators in 1997. I've never seen such great horsemanship by the elders in my life. Breathtaking. What a beautiful area with Tirich Mir just at the rear.
Beautiful scenes. Of highest. Mountains!
Throughout history, Chitral has always been a part of Afghanistan's Badakhshan territory, and its inhabitants are Badakhshan Tajiks, and Trech Mir Castle is one of the castles of the Hindu Kush mountain range, which belongs to Afghanistan. 🇦🇫📍📚
This is my home town ........kpk Pakistan district chitral village shagrum. .......specific place is called atahak
Thanks for adding up the valuable information. This place is indeed a remarkable destination!
Can we travel to Tirich Mir base camp between 15 to 30 December?
I think it's impossible coz in this days temperature is very low
Mushaid Hussain this is part of Punjab Pakistan now! Hopefully we will erase pashto language and all you guys will only speak Urdu/Punjabi. And Afghanistan will be another province of Punjab Pakistan soon. We will erase pashto and Farsi language in Afghanistan and make them speak Urdu/Punjabi language.
@@saudhayat959 NO, unless you have skills of Ali Sadpara.
A big thank you for this. It is one of the highlights of my life.
Hindukush was named by Alexande, one of those RARE occasions that the destroyer of cultures actually did something positive: as "Oros Hindukus" versus the other mountain range "Oros Caukasus". It means the Indian Mountains and the other mountain range is called Caucasian Mountains (Oros=> old greek for mountains). Over time, Oros was dropped and it became Hindukus and later Hindukush. It does not have ANYTHING to do with killing hindus.
The great uparisyena mountain range.🗻🗻🗻🚩
It is Hindu Kush range.
I would love to go there
Are there no credits of the creators of this beautiful, serene music in the soundtrack?
I wish the uploaded would NOT add music. Its so offputting
It's his video not yours! You'll never be happy if you can't take things as the way they are. Thank you!
@Pakistan Highlands is it possible to reach the base camp between 15 to 31 December?
Almost impossible due to the extreme harsh climate. But those who have winter climbing experience in high altitude region may attempt it.
Good
Those who fuss about the music - why don’t you just lower it on your iPad?
Music is just ruining this video.
Good video ruined by the bad music
Thanks for the feedback! The background music has been updated
Change the background music please.

No this area in Pakistan which the British colonialism empire stole from Afghanistan and gifted it to indian muslims who now call themselves Pakistan. Punjab in Pakistan like Lahore belongs to India!
