    Would it be possible for you to do a video about the Old Builders Measurement (Ton=(Length-(Beamx 3/5))xBeamx Beam/2 and the resulting answer is then divided by 94, to get the final answer. Cause I don't know if I did the math right and I can't really find what I am looking for. The OBM is used for sailing ships back when they were prominent.

    I still haven't a clue how they get precise weights just by measuring the size of a ship. I think the absolute best would be to use a giant tub (or a lock) with a known amount of water in it

    it was a informative video I have been searching on internet for a days now and I couldn't figure it out how can I find the empty weight of a ship if I have gross tonnage net tonnage and dwt values my research is on salvaging of ships all I want to find out is the amount of steel used in the ship all the above wont give me the exact amount of steel because empty ship might have fuel etc many other things but estimate can be close to the empty weight of a ship can you please guide me how can I find the empty weight of ship if I have gt nt and dwt values
