Agreed. The other Yugioh-Series never really got me but 5DS did. The setting and the story was epic, i loved the plot twists and especially the final boss. And the music..... it is a reason i'm rewatching 5DS every couple years.
LeGrand Oehler DM has very good moments But it is sloppy to watch. Gx is very good for small kids and overall good. 5ds was in my opinion perfect. zexal has some good characters, But the protagonist is shit. Arc - V is good.

Crow's an arrogant bitch who insults everyone (especially the kids he watches over!) and Yusei's even more emotionless than in the subbed version. But, seriously, 4Kids won't add swearing when it's sometimes necessary, yet Crow can act like an asshole to kids and the elderly!?

Enemy Attack is an amazing song for the duels in the 5D's which in most cases are literally a life or death situation, absolutely terrifying but i love it.

Best not too obvious Twist in the series for last villain ARCV starts great.... but you gotta be commited with the last seasons Vrains has 2nd best MC imo and the premise is great even according to RL... but it has many Duel Link like duels, fair warning.
There's an epic soundtrack in the dub were after Yusei escaped prison and met some friends out of nowhere Jack Atlas appear with his motor cycle and confront Yusei. One of the prison guy who duelled Yusei says then "Hi, Jack long time no seen hows you doing?" And Jack be like :"My career thank you!" I just loved that scene coz the music got intense and everyone was gasped and shocked when he came. For me one of Jack's coolest moment.

Just finished watching 5DS and holy shit that was the best YUGIOH series EVER. Very mature compared to the kid shit in zexal, 10/10 characters, fucking badass VA, intense duels.
I don't play DL, but if I did, I'd be too annoyed at the dub to be hyped (I really like 5D's, but only subbed). I will never forgive 4Kids for ruining my favorite anime, and it would bring me great joy to see this show get a dub that does it justice
