Too say this duel is intense would be an understatement. The Power of the Blue eyes against the Cyber dragon is unreal, their both countering each other left and right neither giving an inch, it's tense alright. The Blue eyes power can rival that of the gods and the Cyber dragons were made to copy that same power but ended up creating something far worse.
Imagine if zane was in arc-v, could've gotten more duels to help fight given how much the dd movie really boost kaiba, but nice addition using duel links animation as well
@@ryanbelcher25rb You know that unaddressed blue circular explosion in the xyz dimension? That's allegedly Zane dueling Kaito. So we never seen the greatest duel (possibly because they didn't wanna disappoint 1 set of fans) there's plenty to support this

Zane is strong but seto is A beast when he goes all out even almost beat atem in semi battle city tourney if it wasn’t for atem having red eyes in his deck
Awesome duel!! It’s so cool to think what would happen if these two went head to head :D At 15:52 , wouldn’t Zane take damage from power bond and lose?
3:00 Why didn't Zane or Hell Kaiser use De-fusion on Seto's Ultimate blue-eyes white dragon here? It would've ben better since Zane or Hell Kaiser would've kept his own monster there.
Yea but zane has so many ways to bring back his dragon plus you saw the combos he pulled out by defusing his dragon. Zane knows his deck well and he also knows kaibas 3 blue eyes would be out at the same time while also knowing kaiba is extremely skilled. With all that zane figured to play it "safe" and difuse his monster since he knew he'd revive it and only deal with kaibas one dragon instead of 3 blue eyes
@@oscarperez5539 De-fusion wouldn't bring back 3 blue-eyes white dragons. De-fusion says that you can return one fusion monster to the extra deck and then you can special summon fusion materials from YOUR graveyard. Since Zane doesn't have 3 blue-eyes white dragons in his graveyard that were used for a fusion summon, he wouldn't be able to use the effect. Also he has a choice werther he wants to return fusion materials back from the graveyard if he can. That's optional. Yes he had a combo for de-fusing his own dragon, but it would've ben more effective to just de-fuse your opponent's monster since then they lose resources, while Zane doesn't change the battlefield really, he just makes it a bit better for himself. So that's why I belive that de-fusing Seto's monster in this situation would've ben a better play.
@@rookiegamer1234 go read the effect of anime de fusion bro it separate the monster and special summons the materials that were used for it, regardless of whose graveyard they are in
Its too obvious how zane is the kaiba of gx but people keep saying its chaz , the coat the belt the deck being heavily relying on dragons even cyber dragon is a copy of blue eyes while cyber end is his blue eyes ultimate and thier attacks is almost the same , chaz is like bakura the character that gets clapped by the protag and its one sided rivalry
Short answer: I agree on regards to Zane being the Kaiba of Gx. But not the definite rival (by the end Gx had no one fitting the bill). Chazz was one of the many rivals in the anime, that they tried to push by giving some Kaiba traits Zane didn't have (for a time); while being the true rival in the Manga. Nightshroud is closer to being the Bakura of Gx, even by the standard you mentinoned (Trueman comes 2nd). Long Answer: The reason people mention the idea of Chazz=Kaiba is due to the gx anime Kaiba traits are shared among Zane and Chazz. It also is due to the fact that in the Gx manga Chazz was the definite rival to Judai all the way, actually defeating him in a tournament, even 2v1 the main villain with him, and his aces monster were the 3 Light and Darkness Dragons, and even fused with Judai's Winged Kuriboh into Ma'at. Even in the anime they were trying to push him in said role by having a need to beat Judai in parts of 2 Seasons, giving the XYZ Machine cards like Kaiba and making his boss Armed Dragon... all which lasted for very short time. Zane is closer to Kaiba in design and personality (Season 2, despite mellowing out in Season 3), and had a sibling. But some people don't see as the rival since his importance to Judai ended in Season 1 and in the manga he is one time profession world champ duelist, that ironically duels Chazz, after the latter wins the tournament whose final opponent was Judai, and wins. Due to Kaiba = rival some people almost always do protagonist rival = Kaiba, but that is not always the case, as examlpe, considering in Zexal Kaito and Shark are rivals to Yuma, but only Kaito fits as the Kaiba. For comparision, Chazz would be closer to Shark (S1 Gx at least). In fact if we go by trying to estabilsh "rivals", GX anime had like 3, arguably 4, characters that could be considered so during the season they were introduced, even if just briefly (Zane, Chazz, Bastion and Aster). Finally, Chazz doesn't fit the Bakura the position unless you count Light Society Chazz. Bakuras are usually the secondary villain, sometimes brainwashed/corrupted and are known for trolling people; being clapped many times by the protagonist and being his rival is not mandatory (though losing to several people is not uncommon). The closest we got in Gx to a "Bakura", not counting one-time villains (guy that used D. HERO Plasma before Aster, and Mad king Bronn), was Nightshroud: he posses Atticus thrice, being connected to the mask (like Bakura's ring) and is the true form as final opponent to Judai (like Zork was to Atem) before the Cerimonial Duel vs Yugi. Trueman also fits the bill considering hs methods of sending people to the darkness and also trolled in ways that made his oppopnent perform worse in duels.

Even between Kaiba and Zane it still a 50/50. Even with Kaiba level of skill (which still not above many other yugioh characters) and somewhat okay deck for his time, his ego and down view of other duelists not named Atem is what hinders him a lot vs anyone else. At least Zane by the end fo Gx solves the down view issue and is a skillful duelist, is just that his deck is not that excepctional (around okay levels). All post 5ds rivals don't have the ego and understimation problem. They are high skill duelist (above Kaiba and Zane) and play more consistent deck/strategies (at least Kaito decks has a major focus on the galaxy photon theme and many ways to get his Galaxy-Eyes on the fields, while Kaiba has to slow of a pace to Blue-Eyes unless he gets very specifc cards and/or conditions).
@juliuswatcher1157 dude those characters are yearss ahead of original yiguoh characters and gx. With much different style of dueling, I guarantee had they shown what zane and kaibas deck would look like in those times too with all the support thay came out they'd be on top still. And even without them kaiba and zane still beat most of the duelist you mentioned. There's duels you can look up with those characters you mention against zane and kaiba
