For now and in the future, I will change the outro each time. This will make it more fun as it will be surprise. Like the simpsons intro. Anyways. Have a great day/night/evening!
My late uncle used to brag about how talented and beautiful Julia Ormond is back in the 90s movies like First Knight, Legends of the Fall and Sabrina. Well tbh I have never watched her movies at all but I certainly do agree with him now!
She's been living in America for the last twenty years. She says herself that her accent is 1/3rd English, 2/3rds American. That was a minor sticking point in Witches of East End. She wanted to do a full American accent, but the producers really wanted her to use her own accent.
always fascinating the difference in how people retain or change their accents over time. some people sound almost exactly the same as they did before they moved, others are a weird mishmash, others completely assimilate. some can completely code switch and speak in two separate accents naturally.
It's weird, her hybrid English/American accent sounds a bit like a posh Scottish accent at times. I actually had to look it up to see where she was from, but it says she was born in England.
I saw that she was coached a lot in an american accent for many shows and films and also lives here so its probably rubbed off. Preferred her original English accent from the 90s
Craig Ferguson is such an underrated Master Pro. She tried to turn the conversation political and he did her a huge favor by diverting it into humor without making her look bad.
If I were the creator of the film adaptation of the Lord of the Rings, I would have begged Julia Ormond to play Arwen. Since "Smilla's Sense of Snow" each time I read the book I see Ms. Ormond. Then again, I see Peta Wilson as Eowyn, so don't listen to me. I'm too old.
I've been a longtime fan of Cate's and I don't really notice the neck thing, maybe because I'm mostly inmersed with the wide array of characters she portray. I'll be sure to take notice next time I rewatch her films LOL
BTW, JLF, why don't u begin to make videos of Craig's minding different foreign countries? My personal advice: begin from Russia, then France. Of coarse, it's a gigantic task, but I think it's worth it.
She is the absolute most beautiful girl in the world but seems to have a bit of a wall always up. Understandable but if one could ever be honored enough to earn that side of her
To me, Craig did well...but she seemed uncomfortable being there. Almost "God...why do I have to come on this show?" Craig had to keep moving the segment forward. But must say...she filled out quite well on the last visit.
@@dystopian2153 You're probably correct. People I know who are quite reserved seem "stand off 'ish" at first. ... just didn't get good vibes watching the segments, especially compared to other guests posted on this channel. I will stand by the last part of my first comment though. Have a good one.
Why...why does Julia do that? Why does she giggle at crap jokes told by some prick of a male interviewer? This giggling, little girl nonsense, what the hell. She 's doing her best to be liked by these people, when she's worth more. I loved her, but she wants to be all things to all people. Maybe that's what it takes in Brentwood, Lalaland.
Or maybe she doesn't take herself ridiculously seriously and is just having a good time with a fun, silly guy that next to nobody dislikes and quite a few of the guest have openly proclaimed to be their favorite late night host because they always had fun on his show. And thank goodness, too. Because if she was the person you've idealized her to be, she would be insufferable.

I like the Hall of the Mountain King piece of music you used, that's a fun one.
You've got a good ear bro! nicely done. That's very accurate.
I hide eggs in the garden at Easter to that music!
ohh, you're quite classy then...I like to believe I'm too;D
Of course you are, you are in a class of your own. :)
How isn't she a bigger star? She's amazing and has all the atributes: beauty, charisma, class and talent.
God I love her, honestly one of the most beautiful women in the world
My late uncle used to brag about how talented and beautiful Julia Ormond is back in the 90s movies like First Knight, Legends of the Fall and Sabrina. Well tbh I have never watched her movies at all but I certainly do agree with him now!
Saw her first at Russian movie about Siberia and that was so lovely!!!! She was great
Man I miss this show.
I miss it too! It was very genuine.
Yep
Same. Wish Mr. Ferguson had a series or show now
Not just beautiful she has natural beauty.
Thank you for posting this!!
My pleasure, enjoy bro!
I love her! haha. "You don't point at your neck." Julia: "I try not to"

The Sean Connery impression at 2:53 took me out LMFAO

What a luminous beauty. And Julia is gorgeous, too.
She ages like fine wine
Loved her in Sabrina and Smila's sense of snow.
Me too! Just watched twice in the past 24 hours! Just love that movie. ❤️❤️🙏🏼
She is beautiful and comes across fantastic on screen.............she's an original
It's weird, her hybrid English/American accent sounds a bit like a posh Scottish accent at times. I actually had to look it up to see where she was from, but it says she was born in England.
Confirming the idea that she sometimes sounds to herself as tho she is wobbling.
I agree 100 percent.
I'm Scottish. She definitely sounds Scottish often.
I saw that she was coached a lot in an american accent for many shows and films and also lives here so its probably rubbed off. Preferred her original English accent from the 90s
She was queen of the love triangle movies of the 90’s
She is so gorgeous and elegant...I love her.
Craig Ferguson is such an underrated Master Pro. She tried to turn the conversation political and he did her a huge favor by diverting it into humor without making her look bad.
Nooooo! Not underrated, please, not underrated.
Craig didn't use his show as some half ass rich person's political forum. Brilliant. Only Letterman and Ferguson on the same lofty level.
@@careful...Icarus Carson and Leno didn't either. Graham Norton even for a gay Host doesn't go into politics. I give Conan a break too.
I always thought she was French after seeing her play so many French characters.
I think you may be confusing her with Juliette Binoche who is a French actress. They are similar looking
@@nataliejadeingram she played a French character on Mad Men
I know. I’m a big fan

I agree. She would have been great in Lord of the Rings.
She was too old at the time
Julia has been living here in the United States for over twenty years. She says that her accent is one third Brit and two thirds American. 😉
love her in sabrina awsome actress.
I can hear her picking up on Craig's accent, on top of her English/American one, lol :)
Never heard of her, but what a beauty!
Check her out on 'Sabrina' with Harrison Ford. Available on Amazon Prime. :-)
Ledgens of the Fall
Must see Smillas Sense of Snow and Legends of the Fall. Amazing!
I've been a longtime fan of Cate's and I don't really notice the neck thing, maybe because I'm mostly inmersed with the wide array of characters she portray. I'll be sure to take notice next time I rewatch her films LOL
She reminds me of Juliette Binoche.
A beautiful person
A beautiful woman

I'd llove to see that too. It's just too time consuming and I'm only 1 person, BUT I won't exclude the idea. Maybe,...
Well done
Sounds like she picks up Scottish from Craig after her comment on How she speaks Australian if she speaks with Australiens.
Miss this show... CBS!!!!
Impossibly beautiful...she is!
I'm scottish and think she also sounds Scottish sometimes
She does sound like she has lessened her accent a bit
now that's a classy woman
Lovely natural beauty
*DAMMIT*
She is soooo fine!
I kind of pick up a little bit of a Scottish accent. Or is it just me?
She is the absolute most beautiful girl in the world but seems to have a bit of a wall always up. Understandable but if one could ever be honored enough to earn that side of her
Had a crush on her since 1994. Someday.
Since Legends of the fall? 😏
Who cares about her accent... Look at her!
Scott Crosby ages like fine 🍷
watchmg her speak in a english accebt after mad men - who knew?
Nice and funny girl.
she lost her accent a little....I loved her real accent =/
Lovely lass
Well, she's English. So, I vote English. But, perhaps Mid-Atlantic...
Her accent is all over the place
UA-cam keeps unsubscribing me. -_-
Surveillance good film with Bill Pull!an
Another amazing film where I think she's one of the best actresses I've ever seem is "Smillas Sense of Snow."

Did Cate Blanchett ever come on? I suspect she'd be hilarious.
Julia Ormond; va va voom.

She likes wearing the pants. 🤔
Accents are a weird thing in the UK I've seen people mix north Wales and London and it sounded south African
Found my new crush
Definitely English
Such a babe
she sounds englerican.
Is she self-conscious about her legs?
No Julia ormand ni vos ni Natalia paz ni la de Luciano Pereira
The right to bear arms, has nothing to do with a requirement to defend the country. They're clueless.
Really? Because it literally says "I hereby declare, on oath, (...) that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States..."
It’s literally for Personal defense against any an all enemy’s from Criminals,Foreign Nations and your own government
They are referring to part of the oath when becoming a naturalized US citizen not the Bill of Rights.
@@wolfy_killer2332 in this instance I believe they are talking about part of the oath to become a naturalized US citizen.
She set up an organization to fight against slavery and trafficking but what is she actually doing to stop it?
Is this a trick question?
Umm that actually doesn't answer the question at all
Look at her, she's Wonder Woman, that's how she fights slavery.
More than you, no doubt.
Nothing. Just makes her feel important to virtue signal about it
what happened to her voice??? it was so charming in Sabrina and Legends of the Fall.............now its so American, ugh, that's a shame
