I’m curious - which bronze or bronze-like ink that you’ve seen looks most like bronze to you? This seems less green than Robert oster bronze (I’ve been searching for a bronze that looks bronze)
@@EFNIR a bit off topic but I adore Monteverde color changing brown/green but it bleeds so badly. gorgeous green tinted brown that still reads brown. to me it looks like dark aged bronze
@@asimmons6936 Oh, looks fascinating. I'll have to try it sometime - though I'll be reviewing for 3 years on the samples I already have, 😲 so maybe not sometime soon! 😂
The chromatography makes me wonder if ink-makers say to themselves “Hey! I want to make a Bronze ink today! Let’s see what I need to do that” or “Let’s throw some grey and pink and orange and periwinkle in a pot and see what happens!”Either way, it has to be fun.
If they're going to make more than one bottle they need to keep track of the proportions, at least. It could totally be that folks mix some things and see how it goes, though. I sorta doubt that Scott Franklin does it that way.
@@inkdependence I imagine there’s a bit of both that goes on, depending on the temperament and mood of the person concocting. Sometimes when I cook I follow a recipe, sometimes I improvise. Either way, it’s fun.
I love this color! ‘Swamp vibes’ my favorite! Thanks for sharing Mike!
Have you access to Colorverse Bukchon? It’s the 65ml bottle in one of their two ink pairings. The Bukchon is also brown-grey…sorta similar.
Nope. I don't have that one. Colorverse has too many inks for one guy to keep up with all of them. 😬
@@inkdependence …Korean overload; they and Wearingeul seem to have new inks daily. 😆
This muted shade reminds me of Birmingham inks
Yep. I think one of the Birminghams was the closest match.
Vendors should include a bottle with each Visconti Bronze Age pen purchase.
That would be cool.
Sweet 👍🏻 👍🏻

Yeah, I was wondering how it compares with R.O. Bronze which is currently in my top 3 inks - love me some murky greenish brownish ink!
