- Melissa returns from Louisiana with Chunky. Brutal cold is setting in here at The Farmhouse. We get some snow. Zachary, Samantha and Rose come up for a nice lunch and they bring up the Polaris snowmobile and take Dad's 4wheeler back with them. Cleaning in the workshop. Plowing, Farmhouse cooking.
Little house on the prairies is one of the gems that isn't bulging with filthy language. A nice change of pace.🙂Family Reunion!! Whoo Hoo!! We did one each year for 27 years at an uncle's place on a lake in NW MT. Then he got old and we couldn't have it anymore. It was good times.
My Self Reliance updated his video about three hours ago and now The Farmhouse...I'm in UA-cam heaven..

LOL, I made Melissa's world famous smothered pork chops in onion gravy again tonight. That recipe is total perfection. No need to add or leave out anything. I've made it at least 10 times. Everyone loves it.

Melissa my mom used to take her eggshells and put them in a quart manoynaise jar which stunk like crazy when you took the lid off but that's how she watered her indoor plants in the winter,just keep putting your shells in the jar and they will rot but boy do the plants grow !

Wow Joe, I’m really impressed with the quad and plow!!! Man if we had more snow here that would justify it, I’d be getting me one for my Yamaha Quad. It really does a nice job for sure. It’s amazing how Rose is really growing. When I saw her up walking I was really able to really see her good. She is a definite cutie pie!!

It's Saturday the 13th and here in Noth Texas is 18 degrees but it feels like 7 degrees with the wind. Joe wife got me a Blackstone for Christmas and its got the air fry trays underneath it which I really like..
that's what my 84 year old parents started binge watching a few weeks ago! So sad people now have no idea who Laura was!

Ive been wondering why Melissa spends so much time in Louisana. Is there a reason why, maybe it was mentioned before and i missed it.
You should push some snow up around the base of your house. We can't push any snow on the street or else we will get fined for doing it. Look at farm auctions for tanks you can usually get them cheap.
Little house on the Prairie, also watched it as a kid. Watched every episode as it premiered.

Chickens may lay more eggs if boxes are cleaned up and put in fresh cedar chips, saw that on Whipoorwill Hollar channel, she even mixes in herbs...rosemary, lavender and some mint (mice don’t like mint), seems the eggs would come out all seasoned, lol. 🐓🐓good to see clean warm water for the girls!
We get more eggs than we can eat, no need to try and get more production. Lol.
I would run the hell out of the sled and see if it is improves. For how long it sat I would think some of those gaskets got a little dried out and it might just come back from use. But I’m sure you guys know what’s really going on cause Zac worked hard on that machine. My son and I love the videos and he especially likes the rock tumbling ones! I know those sleds well. I worked at Polaris is Roseau for over 12 years. I'm not sure of the year of that sled, but I probably put the trailing arms on that machine. Lol Those old 488's were pretty much bullet proof.

I love those old movies and tv series you watch. Old horror movies are the best then of course the Star Trek is awsome. I enjoy old tv shows myself and it sounds like you guys do too. Y'all definately eat some good food.

Joe our local radio station on Saturday mornings have callers that are selling things or looking for things call in . It is real fun cause of the dj's. You might want to mention that to your radio friends and see what they can do. Its always great when you can find stuff local. They can play polka music for breaks every so often. LOL So happy you got your family back home and Zack coming with baby must have been a real treat for you. That machine must weight a ton. But, what fun in the snow!

Get some surf board wax for that plow blade. It'll keep snow from sticking to it. Don't bother with 'PAM" spray. It comes off too quickly.

@@susnorth40 bad road conditions , vehicles and Tire maintenance and Driver error all contribute to winter time traffic problems like going off the road, Miss calculating stopping distance,snow squalld and other issues. It's a lot more than slowing down and accurately judging road conditions
