  • A short clip of the lifeboat haul from Lynmouth, Devon, to Porlock Weir, Somerset, about 14 miles away. It commemorated the event in 1899 when rough seas prevented the launch of the Lynmouth lifeboat. A ship was in trouble so they dragged the boat overland to Porlock Weir, negotiating two long, steep hills (25 per cent in places), using teams of horses and manpower. The ship was saved.
