Cain was the same. Ngannou's team has stated they want him around 265 because they're relying on the knockout, and that's great, but if you're fighting a cat like Stipe, you're gonna miss, gas out, and get handled. Problem Ngannou has is that if he cuts down 20lbs or more, he's gonna lose a lot of that punching power. So then he'd be fighting Stipe's game, meaning a technical chess match with the occasional nuke thrown in, while being vastly inferior at it. Ironically, Ngannou's best chance is to repeat the first fight, and pray for that elusive lucky shot. He can't match Stipe skill or cardio wise, and he can't even seem to match him strength wise to force that punch. All he can do is try and get that KO.
