The other thing if your a thrifter/reseller... if you have multiple liquidation stores near your business/store. You will do just like you do when you thrift. You shop at all the stores. That's how you score a deal. Like we go a few times a week and shop thrift stores in close neighborhoods so they will do the same thing with liquidation and bin stores. So people can't always feel like competion is a bad thing. You need to make connections.
I want to come see her store but it about 3 hrs away one day maybe. I’m in Kansas City area and we have a Bin store that was it’s $5 but it changed to Retail Rebel and not it’s $10 also a few of there locations have a liquidation more like a retail store . I like the liquidation store better. I don’t go to the bin store very often. We have one right down the road here in Belton Mo.
Hi could you explain to us how to calculate our profit and tax amount ? Because we buy sometime per kilo and sell by pieces, so when we have sales of thousands of kilos and pieces it becomes a bit confusing.....
Hey! You should totally reach out to a CPA and get a book keeper involved, many of them are fairly inexpensive when compared to the savings in the long term!
It does amaze me that people STILL ask how much something is on certain days. I was in a bin store - Heard a customer ask, "How much is this?" The attendant answered, "$7. Everything is $7 today." The cusomer asked about another item. "How much is this?" The attendant repeated, "$7. Everything is $7." I decided to jump in on this. I asked the same attendant: "How much is this?" He answered, "$7." I pulled another item and asked, "And how much for this?" He realized I wasn't being serious and answered, "$5." LOL..... Point to him.
Great video! Can you make a content on the next videos with POS system (processing fees, merchant account)? Passing on the customer's credit card fees.
Lindey here is from Derby, KS so her lease will vary greatly from yours. The best thing anyone can do is pick a location that is able to work well with your operation.

Yes, thanks for the inputs, Murphy. In business competition is inevitable however, it has to be good competition.

We are looking forward for you to get a chance to visit her store someday. ^_^
What was the name of the new POS system that Lindey mentioned?

Fun fact: The first item to be sold on eBay was a broken laser the guy that bought it collected broken lasers.
That is definitely a fun fact. Wonder what the guy is selling now?

Props to the attendant for their patience. Customer service takes a lot of that and then some!

Great suggestion! We'll consider that one someday in our future videos.
How much u pay lease for your place?? I want to open same as your in Houston but lease is so expensive

Why not have it raffle style so people aren’t just standing outside in the weather. Create a text account mass text the raffle numbers 🤷♀️
Sure! will keep that in mind! thanks for the suggestion!
