I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually beating maps under an ARK challenge. Unlocking the ending cinematics is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play some wild mods, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, maps, maybe even premium mods and official usually covering all maps from Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration to Extinction, Gen 1 & Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

I got 3 male babies, I asked someone on my server if they had a spare female and he dropped off 3 females and a male haha 😅 I farm them for chitin and poly on the cluster I play on so I'll get tons of babies
They were easy Tames with the Cannon after the Catapult didnt work for me 2. They just take 1 shot to knock out
I just used a cannon instead

3:16 so here I am with 1k+ hours in ark and I just found out that diplos are a passive tame😭
They can be knocked put and tamed as well as being able to be passive tamed.
I feel like the mobility of the gigantoraptor is underrated, this guy on aberration is going to be insane, you'll practically be able to jump over the blue zone. Honestly if you get a good gigantoraptor I think that is going to be the creature for adventuring on AB, only beat out by the yi ling or the rock drake
That is what I'm doing. Fully Imprinted and Ascendant Saddle this guy nearly become the most broken dude in Aberration. But Drake still win in 2nd place and Reaper 1st Place.
The Megalosaurus is incredibly OP on this map as it's always got the night buff
Probably one of the best new dinosaurs
Some yi ling tips-
-Once u dash to get the elevation u can dash again to left or right direction which can be used to dodge projectiles or incoming rockdrake headbutt lol....u can use it on land too, it can also jump backwards on land with that dash!
- Volatile feather reduces armore of the creature i think (not sure)
I hatched 3 rock drake eggs on officials with Gigabirds and they all hatched and undermapped. They are currently floating In the void 150 meters below my base. 185s too royal pain!
I've had so much get eaten by the mesh on aberration it's ridiculous. Found tons of babies and the parent is meshed (i play a modded cluster and we have those binoculars that are kinda like tech ones so I could see their outlines), I had an overspawn of spinos vs crabs hardlock my PC, I drowned, map ate my bag...goodbye 465% longneck 😢

You just have to position the cannon perfectly to shoot the craby right on it’s chitin encrusted face. 1 shot and it’s out.
Also, you won’t lose taming effectiveness!! 😉👍🏼

Rock drakes hatching is a great idea, except the babies fall straight through the gigantoraptor & end up in an inaccessible part of the surface. At least for our first 4 if them.

Was just watching in the bg while i was also collecting rock drake eggs, had just landed in a nest, dismounted, and the second Ras said "It's a 165"
The info box popped up, and the egg was a 165.

with the new trait system a great video idea would be to test how much damage a creature can do or take with all the buffs possible (traits, yuti, gigaraptor...) and wich ones can stack or not.
Raasclark you can store nameless venom in the barrel storage from bobs tall tales to have basically infinite timer on it!

Please don't think I'm trying to start something but I understand where all are coming from on the Pyro but if you remember correctly aberration used to be alot darker than it is now. Yea they are op but they are still useful I have one that I'm using as a light source till I have built a good and safe base. I'm in the middle about the Pyro but everyone has their own opinion lol.
the issue is that the pyro just doesnt really make sense to be on aberration and its also a paid creature, MAYBE if it spawned on the surface itd make sense but like nowhere else on aberration would fit having that
@L_ightninng I understand that lol and your right it would make since of it being on the surface. What I don't understand is why the fasola is on the surface lol. They could have put it somewhere else just like the Pyro
@@HarleyQuinn-vf6sv that idea of the fasola being on the surface was probably taken from ark additions concavenator just like most of the fasola, but they shouldve honestly spawned in the red zone too
@L_ightninng that's my point lol they made alot of decisions that didn't make any since like with the Pyro. Aberration could have done without it I believe they will be a great addition to rag tho
Use bad rock drake eggs, they count as special eggs so hopefully will last a while

I'm glad they removed the Pyromanes. They really don't fit this map especially since they had them spawning in a cold region. They could have had frostmanes and made sulfur nodes available on the surface so players could make flamethrowers to melt the ice. Kind of like reversing the flame dousing. However, they'd probably charge for another creature instead of adding it to the pyromane paid dlc.
I hate that I was taming a pyromane and I had a fat crash.. one that I had in the same mannor as my center map - now I load the map up to crash during the earth background loading phase. Honestly it's so heartbreaking as I was going to go out and tame my first yi ling, but now I can't do that at all... I've tried the center again today and yet I still crash (been like over a month)
Edit - I think it's pyromane.. if you leave near pyromane it seems I can't ever play the map again. I play on an xbox too if anyone is wondering.

I really hate that they removed Pyromanes from Ab. I get that a lot of the community didn't want them on there but If I'm gonna spend money on something I expect to use it on every map. Instead of complaining about it the people who didn't like it should have just downloaded mods that block their spawns. Now I'm gonna have to find a mod that makes them spawn in Ab cuz of a bunch of crybabies.

I dont know how I didnt think about diplos. I ended up doing my Gigantoraptor tame with spino eggs. Living on a ledge above spino river has its advantages taming wise, but still it would have been soo much quicker.....
gigantoraptor has a secondary stomp attk which does way more dmg if u don't know
Actually u CAN tame a crab. I tamed 5 of them with full taming effectiveness using the canon. All u have to do is make sure the crab has a roof over its head. Weird huh? Build the raft trap, and once trapped, add a few ceilings on the first walls and you're good to melt its face without losing effectiveness.
That's what is supposed to happen when you see the red.. :p

This game is amazing. That said theres something wrong with the controls or something because every time theres something you have to get right once, it nevers fails something screws up and messes up the process. Everything i try to do usually takes me 3 to 4 tries. I guess i needa get get gud scrub

I have been farming drake eggs with cosmo and parachutes. Pulled 2 190 eggs yesterday and got triplet females from 1 egg and male from other. On a capped official server, that’s not the easiest thing to do

It's too bad no clip of you realizing the first diplo egg hatched, thus all the torches later. Also, you can tame crabs quite easily with cannon.. put it on a platform and aim to a docile crab.. then pull it with arrows, when it's walking toward you it'll be perfectly lined up for a shot.. all but the highest will take only one shot.. You can hop off and pick up the pillar to nab the whole rig without dmg if you have to wait for it to unagro

What difficulty do you play on? I don't know what's up with my game but the few rock drake eggs I find barely break level 30, and all the normal dinos around the world are super low. I haven't played ARK in a while and I forgot how difficulty works lol
I don’t know if the video mentions it, but if you already have one high level gigantoraptor you can claim other gigantoraptors without having to do the taming method.
I used this to get a 150 by transferring a 197 gigantoraptor from the center and using it to kill the 150’s parent and then claiming the child.
This will be especially helpful for getting traits as you can just find the ideal trait on a baby gigantoraptor, quick claim it, take the trait and then do whatever, maybe just using it for feather farming or breeding stats.
Is the taming for these fixed? Never have been able to tame them because theyre always bugged. Ascendant ghillie. Baby just wanders and does nothing after the first dance to tame it. Mom doesnt care about the eggs ever

@@iivan8730 you can add or remove dino spawns on any map by editing the ini files. No need for a mod. Pretty sure raas removed it on his own server and not wildcard tho

I don't think they mean "belong" from a lore or logic perspective. I think they mean "belong" from a balance perspective.
