You mean the Cryofridge it can but it kills your tame as it converts it to a normal Cryopod. Same like the blueprint it converts a higher tier to base tier if commanded to move the blueprint in its inventory.
Ive got a veggie cake/kibble farm on an oasisaur. Its amazing!! You can whistle the Sir5rm8 "stop" when its spinning in circles to long distance deposit stuff. Also inputs can be made from your inventory. No need to put items into the storage/Sir to set input =) love the extensive video!!

U do not need to put items into input in his inv when In buttler mode unless there's no items in the box ur moving the items to such as a crop plot the seed dissapears so he needs the input....but for cooking metal and putting it away he needs no inputs just has to have auto withdraw and auto deposit setup properly. He will take the metal and cook it and put it away as long u have raw metal and ingots in the forge and ingots in the box he is storing them in....when I set the metal as inputs it usually makes him start spinning or something...
This is correct. Butler mode is about organization which means it looks at the storage medium to determine what needs to be moved. So a crop plot just needs 1 seed input in case the plant dies, I recommend 9 fertilizer stacks unless you use a stacking mod, and auto withdrawal enabled with a spot to store the crops (side note fridges are better for crops and meat compared to the industrial preserver). I really wish they'd add the auto withdrawal function to dinos like the dung beetle and snail as it would be nice to fully automate fertilizer, but currently that part must be done manually. I just keep a vault in the greenhouse and move fert occasionally.

It does make since that he is effected by radition. Electronics are affected by radiation, so why wouldnt a robot be affected? As much as it sucks, it does make sense, from a logical stand point. But this is Ark, logic doesnt apply :D

I thought pairing this with linked storage would be game changing, linked storage on zepplin/outpost and linked storage back at base with robot to empty and put away as you farm seeing as its only 50 slots....but. The bot will not work when not in render so it's almost pointless for a solo player, only will work while you're watching it basically, kinda funny. Also pretty sure it shares the render distance that dinos have, so its a very small distance on official so others in base sometimes aren't even close enough to render it. When the bot picking up items out of linked storage to put away it bugs out and over weights itself. Huge let down for me on this one. Seeing as other games have gotten around the Ai working while out of render this just is a let down. Cool idea for sure but doesnt hit the mark

Maybe in the future we can add attachments like the shoulder tek canon which would tie in well I guess...Just a thought....

Just a quick note. If you have a water tank. Assuming its being filled by a water source (water tank chain or water intake) itll automatically irrigates your crop plots removing the need to have it put water in your crops. Which frankly by the time you have one you should already have a reliable irrigation system.

How weird, for me, Sir-5rm8 would harvest stone and metal pretty easily on the island with no problem. Note: I have him harvest metal, flint, and stone from the smooth stones (Stones that look smooth to the touch with grey reflective spots) along the beach of South Zone 1. It may depend on how you build the base and how you want to do the harvest. I generally have him focus on metal and flint for metal ingots and spark powder since he picks up stone as a bi-product of picking up metal and flint. Edit: I have a question for anybody. Would it be neat to have Sir-5rm8 leave the base by interacting with the doors/gates (opening and closing) to gather resources that are just out of range of the Docking Station? Like, say 10 meters out of its bubble. Sure, we'll have to set up a defense for him which I think would be pretty easy to do with turrets or a Velonasur (Once Extinction is announced). One more thing: Is Sir-5rm8 able to repair other Sir-5rm8s nearby and itself while in repair mode?
Your harvest rates may be to high, but if you notice it's over encumbered just pull out something useless till it can move and try punching it. It might get them to work again. They are planning to work on the ai for it

That's a lot of guide for something that doesn't work 98% of the time. This is, hands-down, the buggiest, most broken thing, they've ever added to Ark. And they have the gall to charge extra for it. Nice video! Now, show me how to set him up on literally any other map. Feels like he was only ever tested on Abb and I only ever see YT using him on Abb. These metal idiots will literally harvest an entire rock node for the 3 metal inside and they didn't code him to drop stuff/not pick up stuff not on his harvesting list. He's also terrible at offloading stuff before he over encumberes, and that's an issue with my gather rates??? On top of that he just flings himself off cliffs, no hesitation, and most metal on other maps is on or around cliffs. So bad. I can't get over how much all of these factors combined bother me.

So you just have to put a seed into a crop plot, click on that thingy, enter number, click again, take the seed out, put the seed into a storage, click on that thingy, rinse and repeat for every crop plot. Alternatively you can just put the seed into the crop plot and … you’re already done? Did I miss something? Isn’t that like adding 10 steps to a process *after* you already completed it? About the only interesting things he can do is some light sorting like putting perishables into fridges and repairing stuff, maybe farming berries and Fiber. Provided you plan your base and defences around his stupid pathfinding. Looking at his costs and level requirements I‘m kinda past the need for a constant source of berries and fibers.
Mine keeps killing my crops keeps taking the fertiliser out the crops he doesn’t have it as a input I put the fertiliser in myself his just is to put the stuff in fridges next min he’s walking round with a inventory full of fertiliser 😡🤣
@elsurvives I'm not really sure how it happens I put 100 in a vault for it to give the crop plots and about every ever day I check its slot capped with fertilizer considering I only started with 100 and have received back about 4 slot caps worth its like it takes it out but doesn't actually remove it from the vault and dupes it in his inventory
As of now you cant as even the auto door wont register him so they will have to push an update where it does... For now no doors is the way unfortunately...

all my robot does is get caught up on every thing, it cant move around the simplest things.
Everytime you open your inventory all I can think of is "Grab My Strong Hand". I noticed a lot of glitching with skins, both official and modded.

There is a mod called crazy potions and one of the potions is called hulk if he consumes that it will increase his carry weight for a period of time
Just fix it by making it immune to weight debuffs.

All mine does is get encumbered and sits down..constantly gets stuck on everything..have not had the best luck with them

This is usually caused by item stack size mods.

The robot is a great idea but it doesnt work well at all. Its AI is terrible and you have to babysit the thing so kinda useless
