I think the key to Adele's success, beyond her incredible talent, is her honesty. Every word, every note is just plain honest. That's artistry.
This is natural! Adele doesn't really do a lot of gimmicks and acting and stuff. Plus she was sick during this performance and yet she sounded amazing.
The fact that she is sick with a cold here and still nailed is just chefs kiss
Anton, as you get older, you will realize how life hands you all the emotions. Don't embrace one, and don't run from it either. After 67 years, I can reflect listening to this song. Good and painful memories. We need all kinds of music to feel complete.

Great reaction Anton! ❤ This song gives me chills every time, because it's so relatable to those of us who, like Adele, feel our emotions extremely deeply and take commitment seriously. At the end, those looks she gave I think were of an internal emotional acknowledgement and relief of "there, I've done it!". Your mom's smile you spoke of reminds me of the same type of smile my ex-husband did whenever he saw me after we broke up... a type of unconscious acknowledgement of anxious nostalgic regret. An "I want you to like me, but I know you won't" external validation seeking smile.
She was good enough to do the bond song!
Honestly, I really recommend you watch in your own time (or react to on here if you want - I'm sure people will enjoy them) her interviews. Her Q interviews (both 2015 and 2021 ones) and her Apple Music Interview are GREAT. Super insightful and you really get to see her personality in them. Her Carpool Karaoke is also loads of fun like others have mentioned.

Just pure perfection
adele does struggle with anxiety so as soon as the song is over and she's no longer lost in her lyrics and music, you can tell she's slightly uncomfortable. she has stated that applause and crowds make her extremely extremely nervous to the point of vomiting. and as she became more famous, her nerves got even worse.
So beautiful. Hello will always be my fave. A million years ago, Remedy and All I ask my other faves. Especially A million years ago. I haven't been able to listen to it after my mom's passing 6 months ago 💔
Much of the most lasting and significant literature, songs, poetry, theatre, paintings etc., etc., deal with feelings of loss and change and regret for things past. It seems to be a basic human trait and Adele has the ability to express this in her words and music, with an authenticity that can't be denied. She sings from the heart and is unafraid to appear vulnerable and be herself, which is why so many of us can connect with her. Even those of us who are stricken in years. Even those of us who have passed our allotted three score years and ten, like me. She's wonderful!

This was done with an entire interview and in that piece the woman interviewing her was staring at her on the balcony plus she was sick so probably wasn’t feeling 100% herself this day. Idk just my thoughts lol

Idk if you take requests (I’m newly subbed) but a great song is “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” by Gordon Lightfoot, based on a true story. Imo it’s one of if not the most hauntingly vivid songs ever written.

Hey Anton. I like your reactions. I just subbed because I liked this one so much. I would love to see you do a reaction to Angelica Hale. One of her best is her cover of Easy on me by Adele. She has alot of covers to react to but one of her best is that one. Take care. p.s. I went and looked and it doesn't look like you have ever reacted to Morrisette Amon. She is from the Phillipines and is one of the best vocalists of this generation I think. My recommendation is to react to her song Akin Ka Na Lang. It's sung in Tagalog but you don't need to understand it to appreciate the music. She is brilliant.

Pienso que hay mucha diferencia en cantar en tu propio estudio de grabación, con la mejor tecnología de sonido , a presentaciones sobre el escenario al aire libre y hasta en lugares cerrados pero más amplios,que el baño de mi casa. Ahí ha demostrado carencias vocales, culpando a los músicos, al micrófono o a los nervios.

I don't think it was staged...I think they just decided to keep it in because it's kind of an old fashioned song - so the engagement/prep time helps modernize it.
Also, 60 Minutes or one of the other major news outlets was there that day as part of a story they were doing on the release of her new album.
Just a note that Adele had a cold in this, its why her voice is a little nasally though still outstanding.
