If you clip with the small snap on the handle, the light will point forward and potentially blind your buddys/team mates. By using the 'temporary position' with the double ender, the light head hangs down and avoid this. You can also potentially use this to read or write notes.
Hi Achim my name is Chris, usually I dive a lot in the ocean during the season and last summer I got a nasty outer ear infection which was not only painful but also kept me out of the water. One problem was the water constantly washing out the natural ear wax, the other of course the microbes in the water. I have seen different mixtures in forums to apply after the dive containing mostly acetic acid (diluted) and alcohols to desinfect the outer ear. What do you do to keep your ear clean from strongly microbial cultured water when you dive a lot? PS. Your videos are great! Thank you for all this information!
why use a double ender bolt snap when storing light head and not using the bolt snap thats already on the light head :? and, is the bolt snap "triggers" turned out from the body because of maybe opening if faceing the other way ? Thanks

If you use the attached bolt snap the light will shine straight up but if you use a double ender the light head will pointing to the bottom. so you have light if you have to do something with your hands and you will not blind anyone else.

Try using SwimSeal before a dive and then SwimEze after.
Might help you out.
