Rugby ball is meant to be kicked with accuracy from the sides if you score a try (downward pressure of the ball touchdown) from the edge of the end zone.

U should try kicking a Steeden, there what the NRL use here in Australia. There shape is a bit diffrent to that of Gillberts, and they kick a little diffrent. if u know what I mean. Also u may want to try diffrent tees, like the NFL tees Vs Rugby tees.
The ball doesn’t matter, the person who kicks it does. I could easily do a 20 yard field goal and kick the football full power and make it go in and kick the rugby ball half power for the camera and it not go in. It depends on who it is, not the ball.
