@c8md5ni1y No. That's why it won't happen because at the end of the day Putin has Russia under his thumb back home, and he'll never want to jeopardise that, especially not just because he can't annex Ukraine. NATO should just go into Ukraine to protect it and let Putin continue running Russia as normal.

America is the only country who has used nukes . I presume Russia would only use in response to a nuclear strike.
Or an invasion on home territory, not its neighbour. I don't believe for a second he would use a nuke just because some foreign soldiers appeared in a neighboring country. The consequences are dire for Russia, the West would have to respond in kind, on Russia itself. That is not a profitable transaction for Russia or Putin himself.
