Building nodes at the start of the match is also one of the best ways to be a helpful and productive member of the team. Engineers that build nodes and support players that actually drop supplies for garrisons and ammo for AT or MG players are arguably the most important players on the field, without them it would be a very quick and boring match.
Medics
Now if only MGs would actually fire and lay fields of suppressive fire..... Idk how often I find myself as the support firing my smg more than I hear LMGs firing for suppression.... and I need to feed them to make points. sigh
I play support, drop my measly 50 supplies. But can’t drop anymore for 5 mins and when I can all it does is replace the supply box, so you can’t drop two sets of supplies on the same point cuz it just replaces the old one? is there a better way? cuz i feel like you have to play forever to put down 50 supplies and you in a sense only ever have one to drop? even if you redeploy and all that.
Drop a Repair station next to the edge of the map, take a transport truck and drop it next to the station but just slightly out of bounds. The station will repair the despawning truck through the whole game...that plus NODES and a lenghty Offensive game (all 5 points) will scor BIG
Yeah, I don't think using exploits is a great idea and hopefully servers ban for shit like that.
Just do it in an empty server
I checked it and it is ineffective. I have built a repair station and 10 vehicles abroad. I got less points than for nodes.
@@MsCacer you can do both. Node and repair station, so its just more exp
@@mynamesjudge Getting banned, for speeding up the grind? What's the harm in letting a ditched vehicle become a resource for XP? It's not like most people every bother building repair stations to begin with so you can't really say that he's detracting from the battlefield with his station elsewhere.
100hrs in this game and stil learning new things. Hyped for update 13! Thanks for the video dude!
You will reach 2k hours and still be learning things! Super high skill ceiling.
Thanks for the video, im a level 180 in HLL and i never knew this. Cheers
You can do all of this and continue to drive the supply truck around the entire game. You'll level much faster. This works especially well if you're helping to seed a server, as there usually aren't threats behind friendly lines.
Drivning the supplytruck all match can grant any class some XP. Combind whit the nodes, gives around 3000-5000 points in a normal match.
You gain point by driving a non-combat vechical, plus dropping supplys.
Tip : supplying your own locked point minimze the chance of you getting shot. And you can be quiet helpfull dropping supplys all over the map.
This is a great method I hit close to 7K Xp the first match I tried it on the building the engineers were doing for defense was a sight to behold.
I was just thinking about this, thank you, will try it
Thanks for the video! I’ve been playing HLL for about a week and I had no idea about this. Roles such as the engineer seem technical and intimidating but I’ll try it!
Wow i just hit level 25 and this blew my mind, thank you. Finally getting good enough to attain 10 kills per session as infantry up from the 2-3.
Wait so is it working for you? I'm about to try it myself.
@@theonewhoknocks797 Ive been doing this and I am now level 50. Level 25 took me longer than getting to 50. So Im assuming nodes is the main difference. Also recommend a larger screen, just went from a 55 to an 86 and it drastically improved my gameplay, also 1080 8 year old screen to a 4k. So much more detail much easier to pace moving targets. But yea nodes make a big difference in leveling and they also help your team win which.. gets you victory % bonuses to your experience, and if you build nodes almost everytime someone gives you a commendation, I always annouce when i build nodes or barricades for the crew, they throw out those commendations like candy, I think its 10% exp boost per commendation had a 50% commendation one round.
@@theferalpaladin4350 thanks for the tips, I've been having a blast with the engineer role
Try crawling more in the grass
Love this game and play more then any other game I have. I am at the point of grinding out Assault and Automatic Rifleman. Have done this, but always looking for another possible way. Normally I build the nodes redeploy to the class i want, get another supply truck and drop supplies to build up points and just keep doing that.
Thanks for sharing this information. 👍🏼🙃
Ive been playing for months and never knew that your nodes contributed to the other classes! To be fair I mainly play engineer anyway because I'm useless in firefights and rather help the team buy building stuff for blowing stuff up.
The pvp mains appreciate you dearly
We all love you for your contrubution Philly Billy. Just, when sometimes guys wants to makes nodes to better levels up, be kind to them :o))
So this is why the engineer class is never available at the start of the game. Also the supply truck thing I always feel bad about taking the supply truck and building notes shouldn't you use the first supply truck to build Garrison's?
I would say leave the First Truck for Commander to build defensive Garrisons, while the SL's in the Transport Truck build the offensive garrisons. You as an engineer should spawn on HQ and request for a Supply Truck to your Squad Leader and with that you build the nodes. I would say in the first 10 minutes you will have those nodes for yourself up. There are faster ways to get the 3 Sets of 3 Nodes up with the Various Squads - Support which what is used in Competitive Clan Matches.
Talk to your squad leader. Ask to driver either him or the commander to build a garrison with one crate and the other for your nodes.
Sweet info. Tired of grinding
Thanks
To protect the nodes, its a bit excessive but you can drop the second box and build barbed wire compound around it etc
you can also drop the supply crate behind the second Map-Line, just at the border (drive the truck from HQ and drop the crate at the first possible place) and build the nodes 5meters back, in the first Sector.
It's a great safe place, that doesnt yield the most points but is safe and reliable and the nodes wont get taken down so easily
Do you know if this works if you have to switch squads to get the role you want to level up?
Thanks I’m stuck on infantry 8 and want to max it out before moving on. Now I’ll be able to
Infantry 8? Which class of infantry lol
oh duh i mean rifleman@@raising_roro8153
Thanks
You can also spam build objects like bunkers and wire but you’ll have to keep running back and forth for more supplies. Also if you’re playing as a class where you can drop ammo or supplies, dropping it will give you xp I’m pretty sure
Also, if you help an engineer to build defenses, bunkers with a hammer you gotta get lots of points. in addition driving and supplying with supply truck helps a lot, in matches I have grinded like 7 thousand points at least with no nodes points
If someone else in my team does it will I still get the extra points or is it only if I place it
By being an artillery whether your reloading or not is also a great way to get xp after building the nodes
Fantastic
Good idea
Also something I learned recently, build a repair station near the edge of the map and drive a transport truck just off the side of the map. It will get damaged and when your repair station is active you gain additional XP. Not good if you're in an active game, but if you're seeding or just grinding it works well.
I checked it and it is ineffective. I have built a repair station and 10 vehicles abroad. I got less points than for nodes. So dont try this at home XD
@@MsCacer you're doing it wrong then. I've tested it and it definitely works
It works, I usually put to or even three trucks at the repair station
I needed this for support flamethrower level 8 requirement. I was playing for so long as support class but I'm only level 5 and half.
Join the Bob The Builder server, build some walls and you'll be level 10 in an hour 🤗(I clarified it with HLL's community manager before openly recommending this to people and she says it's within the rules).
@@RedcoatViking_Official any advice for ps5? :(
At the very least place the AP mines on each end of the nodes.
play as commander and take a supply truck, whilst doing your command duties drive around placing garries, every supply drop gives u xp, plus placing the garry, and having people spawn, then use your ability it will also help out, if you place say 10 garries in 1 match u can get like 30k xp
i think someone with as bit more experience needs to play commander.
No he's right, the commander's main role is garri placement, provided they use comms and fullfil requests from the team then their only job is to build more garris :)
You are a god
I am at lvl 5 auto rifleman and all of that was from grinding. I will for sure try this out. Cheers.
Do it work
Can you go into different units and do the same thing to get x2, x3 then x4. XP from the four sets of nodes?
No, you can do only 1 nodes set as a engineer on match
Guys, yesterday I found a great server "Bob the builder" in the server there is amazing way how to level up so fast, 1 round (300,000 xp) I would really suggest you to try it out
I don't think this works anymore, I noticed, as a new player, that the classes I play in a single match each are assigned xp to said classes.
The nodes generate a certain amount of xp once minute so whatever you switch to gets the xp, it's like a 15% to 20% of your xp if they are left alone for the whole match. Just depends.
Either way it's free xp once set up
And drop Anti Personnel mines around the nodes
*screams internally* How did I not know this!!!????
Jump on the Bob the builder server, it's this method dialed up to 1000.
lol Bob the Builder FTW
after you build your nodes good luck finding an open slot
hop onto different squads and look for the slot u want
False. Get some friends, and a PW protected server. You’ll need 10+ people. Find an offensive map. Be on the defending team. (It’s worth more when it’s axis on D) offensive mode let’s you drop supply boxes from the trucks in HQ. Anybody who has a class that doesn’t have a hammer drives the supply truck and holds RMB near the refill station and infinitely drops boxes. An engineer stands about 35m away from that station and places bunker blueprints. Everyone else stands on either side of the engi in a straight line and hammers the bunker to level 3. If you have enough people the build is quite fast. When you’re at level 2 and about half way to level 3, the engineer turns around and starts placing another bunker blueprint. You want the bunker to finish building to level 3 before the engineer finishes placing the new blueprint. When the new blueprint is placed, the old bunker will disappear and everyone can turn around and build the new one up. Nobody needs to move, just hammer and spin over and over. Have the driver change teams with a few minutes left and start capping before the timer runs out. Once the map is 4-1, let the time run out so defence wins. You’ll get roughly 1million xp per game, and can get 2-3 classes at level 10 per 2.5hr session.
It is a valid way to upgrade your classes, i would personally say that if you wish to upgrade your classes by Grinding the game which is much more rewarding than follow the video if you do not enjoy the grind then a cheeky way like this one would work best for you.
@@masperino5522 oh for sure this is the best “legitimate” way of leveling up. But the bunker method is empirically faster if you’re in a hurry to get all the kits open.
@@HLL_pepper For sure yeah, im back from the day when an ENG was able to build all 3 Sets and get 12k per normal match, so i wasnt 100% legit aswell did play normal Pubs but with the benefit of that mechanic back in the game.
Is there a way we can do this on playstation 5?
@@Broxym I think you’re stuck building nodes at the start of the match until console gets a server browser.
I've been doing this for months and I swear I only get 100xp each game for my assault class.
but where does the supply crate come from? are you playing in an empty server?
The supply crate comes from a truck, an air drop (commander ability) or a support class. I actually just uploaded a new version of this guide if you're interested :) ua-cam.com/video/jXdUcunEauQ/v-deo.html
Thank you sir! I am a noob and I need to level up fast so I can record many of the games effects for a Developer class I am taking. I wish they had a map editor or something I could use . I am going to have to join an empty server at lvl 30 to be commander and record the effects that way. Unless you know an easier way.@@RedcoatViking_Official
@@StaXks_Gaming hmmm nothing better comes to mind tbh. You could search for a server called "Bob The Builder" and just stand there all match hammering construction items with 20+ other guys to level up to (and above) 30 in probably 1 or 2 matches if that helps?
HA!!!!! I have to be level 30 to play on that server. Oh the Irony! lol@@RedcoatViking_Official
@@StaXks_Gaming Dam lol, guess you have to do it the old fashioned way like in the video then! :P Build nodes, then build literally EVERYTHING you can in a match :)
I thought it was important to do the manpower node first?
Only when you are with a support player that’s supplying you.
The only purpose of building a manpower node first is because it’s halves the cooldown of dropping more supplies, if the support player stands within the manpower mode he only has to wait 2 minutes instead of 4 minutes to drop another 50 supplies.
Edit: Not sure how correct those times are. It could be 5 minutes halved to 2 minutes 30 seconds.
Not quite sure on the specifics, just know it cuts the time in half

IS THIS STILL WORKING AS OF JUNE 2023?
No idea, but I heard not
I'm on console and it works, don't know about PC
I only have around 30 hours can I just place the nodes right at spawn then switch classes
Yep! As long as you have supplies around :)
isnt this already patched?
No clue, I haven't had it installed for months.
Just tried this trick. It seems they fixed it? I spent about an hour 15min from start to finish in a match and had up my 3 three nodes almost entirely. Played a bunch of classes but the last 5 minute of the match I swapped to support hoping to get all that experience but hardly got any. Most of the experience was actually given to my engineer.
You don't switch at the end of the match, you switch right after building the nodes. The points accumulate as you're playing a class, not all at once at the end :P
Speaking as someone who builds nodes at the start, every match I can, I'm not sure this is true. Yes you get overall xp, but I don't think you get class xp. If you watch at the end of the match it will break down your class & overall xp. I don't think it works the way you say here sorry
It does, engineer to place nodes and I do the truck xp method aswell and as soon as you're done switch to the class you want and carry out the match then can obviously build up points with defenses, driving non combat trucks, maybe a little artillery bodies and you're golden
Wow, now I just need a better pc to play it :D
Building things (op, garry, defences, at gun, nodes) can upgrade better any classes, i guess
