  • Is this safe? Philippines Masungi Georeserve with terrifying heights.
    / travelbeans
No harnesses is pretty crazy and South East Asia doesn't seem to have the same safety structures in place as the West. Just an observation, and it certainly makes it more fun in the Philippines.

The lush greenery came out really green in your video. It looks so fresh, a bit mysterious with the mist, very picturesque. Reminded me of pictures of NZ. But your British you're not used to sunny days much. So what's a little wet outing.

Before going to Batanes, check the weather forecast. But in general this season is not the best time to go. You might just end up strand for days.

Also, always bring emergency snacks (sky flakes biscuits) and a bottle of boiled water when traveling around Philippines...keep healthy, happy and safe. HAVE YOU GUYS TRIED DURIAN FRUIT YET? @@Moss_piglets Heatwave is peril only if people were stuck inside a subway train or platform with no air conditioning. Las Vegas is Heat times ten. If I could enjoy the heatwave in October in NY, that'll be great except mother nature doesn't work that way.

Health and safety did look a bit lacking at some points haha!!! We had a think about our best/worst cloudy day. It has to be the night we got stuck in our tent out on some grasslands in Kyrgyzstan. There were two or three storms happening at the same time in all directions and we were in the middle with our leaky tent trying to keep our things dry and hoping the tent wouldn't disintigrate! 😀😀 Looking forward to more of this!
