Use a proper polygonal mesh app, not a 3D solids app. Seriously. That said, Fusion 360 can be helpful for mesh editing, but in a limited number of cases. To its defense though, it's getting better. BTW, F360 is better w/ meshes, but you can convert to BRep and do some body editing, but this is very limited in the size (polygon count) that is can handle, whereas pure meshes can be rather large (I've even processed a mesh w/ 4 MILLION triangles!). Thanks Lars, the main reason I was having trouble aligning the objects is because they were glass sheets with perpendicular edges.
