I love these snarky comments! It must have been frustrating for early knitters who had a limited pattern selection and then struggled to find anything they liked or that worked and that suited them. We are so lucky now with endless online help and support and patterns. I do kind of want to try these now to see what the fuss is about. I hope you can do a more I depth video on this!

There was definitely different needle guage before we went metric. Fun to know they tried out so many patterns.
