His turnovers and how he laces his hand through the belt/obi are amazing.

Massive osoto fake into that seoi nage. I must say, I'm pleased to see the medal being decided by newaza. This guy's pin seems almost unstoppable. How scary is it to have a guy who's not afraid to use energy to newaza and knows how to hold it? Having energy to try and get out of it before the score seems rough.

I think just calling it All Japan Juniors is enough. It isn't restricted to University Students, there's only an age limit, you must be between 15-20 years old.

Other than Kokushikan what would you say are the best newaza universities in Japan?

The Nanatei League that does kosen judo would be your best bet for groundwork specialization, since most groundwork training is done before university, unless you go out of your way to seek it out. Several competitors on Japan's national team have done BJJ in addition to judo (Tsunoda, Hashimoto, and Sasaki).
For what it's worth, Kashiwazaki teaches at International Budo University, if you want to go to -the- expert in judo groundwork. The stuff you learn in BJJ is a lot of the same material but applied differently, so your mileage may vary.
