I am so glad IEW spelling zoo is working for you guys. My little has been struggling with spelling the same way Hope was. She would remember the words all week then forget how to spell them the next. IEW spelling is definitely a very different approach to spelling, but we are seeing improvement. God bless ❤️
We never got passed lesson one with AAS so I bought the new version of level 1 and sold the old version!!! My oldest is using TGTB creative writing and loving it!!! As he’s 15 he’s going thru it quickly tho!!! He chose it and I’m not asking him guiding questions!!! We have never tried brave Writer!!!
I have never tried TG&TB writing or language arts. I hear lots of good things about it. God bless ❤️
Evan Moor sells a Writing Poetry book that is phenomenal. My son and I have enjoyed using it over the years. It's K-6 but can easily be used beyond 6th.

We have been happy with the IEW curriculum for writing and fix-it grammer. But I have never really looked into the spelling with IEW. Spelling is a tricky subject! I am not such a great speller myself. We have found Wordscapes (the App) help the kids improve with their spelling.

Dover books are a fav. We use Phonetic Zoo also. 🌻

The Dover Thrift book is the blue book (Frederick Douglass) That company has many unabridged classics. 🌻
