FT-857d hidden menu settings

There is a hidden menu on the FT-857d that can be used to change parameters. To get them turn transceiver OFF. Press and hold the A, B, C keys; while holding them in, press and hold in the [PWR] switch for 1/2 second to turn the transceiver ON.
This video just shows the default settings.

I'd like to know how to make an 857D sound better on AM... I used a 100D, and it had AM mods that made it sound good!

Press and hold the A, B, C keys -- while holding them in, press and hold in the [PWR] switch for about a second to turn the transceiver on. You'll be in the settings menu. Please be cautious here and do not change settings unless you are clear on what impact they will have on your radio.
