- Hello! I am so excited for the next couple months, I couldn't help but show off some of the amazing fabrics and trims! I'm also doing some Fall(?) Cleaning in the sewing room -- long overdue.
Would you like to see that process broken down (say, going through fabrics, patterns, trims, etc, separately) or just one big overview transformation? Or both? Please comment below!

I'm the same! I think maybe breaking it down into addressing different parts (like my patterns and books, notions, fabric) might be the most helpful to anyone wanting to do similar.

I am STILL upset about it. I went from having two Hancocks fairly convenient to only one Joann wayyyyy on the opposite side of town from my house and all my routine errands. (We won’t acknowledge Hobby Lobby)

@@LittleCrocus There are a couple of local fabric shops near me that sell mostly quilting cotton, so I usually only go to them for emergency thread. 🙂
I am very interested on how you alter the cape to fit. Your figure looks a lot like mine, so I am very interested how you will do the wrapping bands in the front. I already have the pattern and have watched Noelle at Costuming Drama and how she did the shoulders, but she has a pocket-like dip on the side. Of course if I looked like Bernadette . . . but I don't. Will stay tuned!
I'm playing around with all kinds of darts and tucks to try to get it to lay the way I want. Hopefully, I'll have that video done for October!

For a single person moving heavy things sometimes putting it on flattened cardboard makes it easier to move things IF you can get it on the cardboard in the first place that is. You then pull the cardboard at the bottom to move the item. I prefer shorter videos.
