You know what? I thought I have already subscribed her like a month ago or so. Actually when I read your comment I found out I didn't. 😂😂😂 so I did now
A CURIOUS BEGINNING! Girl please read this! It’s phenomenal. The audiobook is the way to go. Everyone I know likes it the first time they read it but is obsessed when they either reread or continue to the next book
Murder at the Pumpkin Pageant is the 4th book in the Beacon Bakeshop series. This is the only Fall one so far but they are all very enjoyable and I highly recommend. Two books are summer ones and there is a Christmas one. The 5th book is going to be a St Patrick Day one. I can't wait for that. The covers for this series are some of my favorites.
Hi. I was really struck by the beauty of "Motion Detection", a thriller book that I found by chance on Amz while looking for a new book. The cover intrigued me, it's an unusual book with a spectacular ending, I highly recommend it!
Ah! I’m so excited for you to read so many of these! The Black Witch chronicles for me almost seemed like a more mature Harry Potter. I binged all the books that are out! Twin Crowns is so good as well. It warmed my heart! I had never read anything from Sanderson but loved Tress and the Emerald Sea!
It looks like a great book haul! Whenever you do book hauls, I pull up Goodreads, and then hit play/pause a bunch of times as I go back and forth adding books to my TBR, lol. Thanks for the wonderful video! 📚🍁
I just borrowed "House of Salt and Sorrow" from my library. I don't need to add any more books to my TBR, but everyone says this book is so good. I had to check it out!
A Library of Shadows was fun but it reads veryyyyy middle grade. Like the villain twist is obvious in chapter 3 and there’s a type of plot hole that works in middle grade but not YA. A Study in Drowning is EXCELLENT. I read the whole thing yesterday. Ink Blood Sister Scribe is my favorite debut of the year! FYI Holly Horror is kinda based on that old “say say playmate” song and playground hand clap game but I feel like it’s not common knowledge anymore so you might want to look that up if you’re unfamiliar. I DNF’d Payback’s a Witch lol. Too many authors think that Stars Hollow vibes = the characters never stop talking and making inappropriate jokes. I can’t wait to see what you think of them all!
Hi Liv, The Library of Shadows and Bring me your Midnight sound good. The Nature of Witches is on my TBR. I read House of Salt and Sorrow which I unhauled because of the gore. I'm finding I like cozier adult fantasy so Unatural Magic looks good. The house as a character is the only horror trope I can tolerate so Holly Horror sounds interesting. I love Shirley Jackson a classic author. She wrote gothic light and quiet horror. Love Gilmore Girls soUnfortunate Effects of Heartbreak and Magic looks good too. Can't Help Falling and Last to Leave the Room sound great too.
I did not expect to love Ink Blood Sister Scribe as much as I did! It was so good! Thanks for the recs. I just bought The Lighthouse Witches because I remembered it from last year’s recs. I can’t wait to read it. 🍂🍁
I ❤ Such Sharp Teeth! Its a good one and not too scary imo. Im looking fwd to all my spooky 👻 books 📚!!! I have Jesse santanto's new thriller bc i ❤her writing SO much. About to read Alice Feeney's new one too. 😊
Ink Blood was one of my faves of the year! Such Sharp Teeth is my fave Rachel Harrison. It’s a bit bloodier than her others, but still not really “horror” IMO. Reading Quiet Tenant right now and 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
An older series I enjoyed was written by Tate Hallaway. Tall, dark and Dead is the first in the series centered around a witch and a vampire. Probably what would be considered chick lit. I recently read The Luminaires by Susan Dennard. I loved the author’s writing and her descriptions of the buildings in this story. Read it in two days. Couldn’t put it down. Another series that I don’t hear anyone talking about is Jim Butcher’s Dresden file books. Harry Dresden is a warlock who always seems to be in trouble.
Obviously you have enough books to keep you occupied for awhile, but I really want to recommend The Clackity by Lora Senf. It's a middle grade horror, which I found creepier than most of the adult horror books I read last Halloween. I really think you would like it. Bonus, the sequel called The Nighthouse Keeper, comes out mid-October. Love your channel.
I simply don’t understand why you don’t have anymore followers here on UA-cam. Your videos are fantastic ❤
Emma! Thank you so much friend, I appreciate you. 🥹🧡
@@livslibrary if autumn was a person, it would be you!
One more! 😅💚

A Curious Beginning ..... Yes! The main character, Veronica Speedwell is so entertaining!
Yes Liv!! I LOVED A Curious Beginning. It got me out of a reading slump. It’s got action at every turn, great character depth, and it’s funny!
I will continue to insist that you try reading the Lockwood and Сo. series. I swear you'll love it!!

OMG OKAY. I trust you! 👏🏻😍

This comment made my day. 🥹🫶🏻

Good to know! Thank you! 🧡
I feel like we have so many cozy horror books to get to and I'm so excited!

Im pretty sure I added at least a half dozen to my TBR and checked my libby for them all - great video Liv! 🍁❤
I love this! 😆🧡
Wow! Great recommendations! I put several on my tbr!
I feel like I'm gonna go on a Rachel Harrison binge in October!
You & me both! 👏🏻
I loved Cackle ❤
I just read Modern Divination and was OBSESSED! Easily my favorite book of the year and one of my 6 star reads! Hope you love it ♥️🫶🏻!
I already watched this once but I'm watching again because I love you too much
Love you to the 🌙 and to Saturn!
I just read Holly Horror. I really liked it. It reminded me of a cozy mystery but with creepy tone added in and more plot.
Ooooh I like the sound of that!

Love your book haul! Great book recommendations as always! Definitely will be adding some of these to my tbr.😍
Finished The Library of Shadows this weekend. Solid 2/5 for me. Writing and characters were surface level, had higher expectations.
That’s sad! I’m hoping it’ll still be a fun time!
Love a good, old fashioned book haul! So many intriguing reads! 📚 ☺️

Ahhhh I hope you love it as much as I do!
I really love the Black Witch series. I won't say it's like the most amazing writing, but it's fun
Also, Practical Magic is least favorite in that series, Rules for Magic is about the aunts and is sooooo gooood

I also just got Payback's a Witch the other day but I haven't started it yet! So excited to start it though🧙♀️🧹

Oh yay! I hope you love it!
Loved Tress and the Emerald Sea. My first Brandon Sanderson and makes me want to continue reading his other standalones
I have high hopes for it!

I love that I was with you when you got most of these🤭
Hahaha you’re not wrong. 😂
I love house of salt & sorrow! I really want to grab a copy of roots & ruin!!
It’s so pretty! ✨
Ink Blood was one of my faves of the year!

Reading Quiet Tenant right now and 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
That makes me want to pick up all 3 of those right now!!!
Have you read anything by Grace Draven? The Wraith King series is my favorite but all of her books are well written. Fantasy/Adventure/Romance.
I haven’t! Will check them out!
Cosy but sad ( & very short) At Risk - Alice Hoffman ❤

Oops, Harry Dresden is a wizard kind of like a grown up Harry Potter.
Yesss Twin Crowns 🙌🏼 Katherine Webber one of the co-writers is besties with Sarah J Maas
Ooooh wow, that makes so much sense now! Love that 👏🏻

That one has been on my radar since last year!
❤📚📚❤️...lots of good recommendations, thanks! A Pinch of Magic by Michelle Harrison was sooo good if you like middle grade.
I’ve been wanting to read that one!
Amazing fall book haul! Can’t wait to hear what you think of them
You look like the word pumpkin spice 🎃 ❤
Best compliment. 🤭🧡
Nice haul!
