If you turn the lamp off to go to bed, does the bulb stay lit as if the power went out? Or is there a way it senses that the power is still on but you turned it off with the lamp on off switch? If you can't turn the bedroom lamp off when you want to sleep do you have to take it out of the socket to switch it off?
It's just like you work a lamp. If the power goes out and you turn the switch it'll go on. Turn it again and it goes off. If the power is on it just works like a regular lamp.

They still work and are still in our lamps. That's about 3 1/2 years now.
