Hanoi is most polluted city in Southeast Asia, and that's one of the reasons Covid-19 have been killing way more Vietnamese than citizens of neighboring countries, as persistent pollution severely damage lungs and make them vulnerable to infections. The young, the old, and the handicaps are permanent 5th class citizens under Commie regime, as the disadvantaged members of the society are often taken advantages of by others with no safety net nor societal protection whatsoever (fairly common sights are tattered pre-teeny kids and old men and women in their 60's, 70's begging or selling lottery tickets on the streets), and almost everyone 95% of population get abuses by the utterly corrupt and brutal Vietnamese Commie regime as their lands can be robbed by it anytime. Even during the pandemic when most countries provided aids to their citizens, the ruling Vietnamese Commies not only didn't provide aids (only about 1% received them and those were usually the members of privileged Commie ruling class or their own associates. Yes, they took citizens' tax money to selectively give it to themselves) coordinated with each other to exploit the citizens even more with their dangerous nostril test kits (made by their shell company Việt á) that they falsely claimed of having been approved by World Health Organization (WHO). The result was deadly, as tens of thousands of people died needlessly. Yes, these ruling Vietnamese Commie lowlifes saw the pandemic as another great opportunity not to help but to make money out of the already indigent Vietnamese citizens most of whom could barely survive after being steered like animals by the brutal Vietnamese Commie military police into barbwired, unhygienic quarantined areas sleeping on the floors with inadequate food, water, toilet, beds, and medicine. All true. Do your research. Caveat emptor! Search for patients lying on concrete floors in hospital corridors and even under beds from Google Images. Torrential floods essentially all over the country half of the year, while HCM is a sinking city.

Vietnamese here. I'm studying abroad right now and watching your video makes me scream from homesickness! Like a local resident, you ordered all the iconic foods and drinks left and right! Some brands you picked were my favorite too. Love the landscapes and sounds you're captured. Those are the ones you can only find in Vietnam. Anyway, hope you had a great time there.
You did a surprisingly good job on searching, the food looks legit. Happy that they don’t over-charge a foreigner. Even as a local, all of the places you went seem fun and homely. Definitely follow your guide when i travel to the North.
Its so fun to see you go to all of these places and try new things. As someone who is disabled and can't travel, it's such a joy to watch your videos and "explore" different countries with you! Can't wait to see where in the world you go next!
"Violently hot" are the operative words! Never experienced such heat and humidity in my life! But what a beautiful country, and the FOOD is just beyond, beyond exquisite. I went to the very same egg coffee place with the steep stairs!
Omg this was literally perfect timing, I’m on a trip to Vietnam rn!! I’m half Vietnamese, half British and this is also my first time in Vietnam :) It’s so cool that we’re both getting to experience this omggg❤️❤️
I am a Vietnamese and living in the US for 6 years. Watching your videos with all of my favorite food made me a special feeling. That’s homesick. Can’t wait to fly back to Vietnam. Bun cha, pho cuon, pho bo, nuoc mia, banh cuon…. Yummy… Anyways, you did a great video. Thank you for visiting my country.❤
It's "bun cha" not the "bun cha gio" , that two thing are different. But I think u should try both cuz it kinda like the same to have "bun" dip in fish sauce with topping.@@elizabethw.454
@@elizabethw.454 Yes it does. "Bun cha" is like "bun" dip in fish sauce and topping is the grilled pork. The "bun cha gio" is "bun",fish sauce and topping is fried spring rolls. You should call to ask the restaurant do thier "bun cha gio" contain grilled pork.
As a Vietnamese person, I have to honestly say that you look better than countless commercial actors. I also feel very proud and excited when foreign friends love our food. Thank you so much for this lovely video!
@@huongmai9830 I never been to the North, only South ( Ca Mau, Saigon etc ) I know crimes are frequent in the South example Phone snatching, Knife threats inside Petrol stations at night. Motorcyclist thieves etc.

So enjoyable to see you experience all the Vietnamese dishes like a local. I was impressed how you knew how to eat the dishes correctly & enjoyed the fresh herbs & the entire experience of the sauces that go with each meal. I watched another traveler who ordered chicken & rice almost everyday & I just think its such a wasted opportunity when they could instead try all the authentic Vietnamese dishes. I think you went a bit overboard with the Vietnamese coffee (maybe thats why you couldn't sleep) as you should as it's so good! 😂
As a Vietnamese I’m happy that Logan isn’t afraid of any herbs or sauces. And a very brave person to cross the streets 😝. I’m very proud that u enjoy ur time in Vietnam.
I'm currently alone in Vietnam and I love it ! Solo style is good in Vietnam, I love that I can do whatever I want without having to compromise and get frustrated.

i've never seen any of your videos before, but i'm vietnamese and have only been there in 2000 when i was 5. i appreciate that you didn't talk nonstop through out the video, really indulged in the food, and explained everything as best as you can without being ignorant or disrespectful. this was very soothing and entertaining to watch :) also, i didn't see any sauce in your pho. please try hoisin sauce with it, its the brown sauce. my favorite and makes a huge difference!
Honestly as a Vietnamese I am relieved that it looks like you chose the right places to eat (except for those delivery tho)! You have it all like a local
As a Vietnamese, I found you so cute for the exciting "uhm" when you ate the "Bun thit nuong". It makes me smile and think like "Yeah I bet and I hope it was good, I know the original version here would def be better"
as a Vietnamese, im happy to see this!! not like other people, you enjoy this like a new home! also good choice of choosing Cong Ca Phe!! its pretty popular, its also deeply in Vietnamese culture! Choosing to stay near Tay Ho is a perfect desicion too!! also i prefer not to choose Mixue, its actually a Chinese store. you ate almost all of our popular foods!! love your vids!:D
I *might* be booking my third Vietnam trip as we speak because of this video hehehe. I almost forgot how healing the food and the vibes are there. Might go to Hanoi this time even just for a short weekend.
I have a Vietnamese friend that owns a restaurant, and I swear to God the second I ate the food it was love in first sight, personally I love their food so much more than my own because it's like lightweight, but somehow filling, I hope to one day visit Vietnam eventually because it seems so nice to be there and the culture as well !
I feel like it's a universal experience to hear the beeping in your dreams on the first night in Vietnam lol! Really loved your video and I was so excited to see you try so much of the local food. I live in Laos and the Vietnamese food place here is the only one I go to, the Banh Mi is unmatched. Also, your cooking videos inspire me so much to attempt cooking the cuisine on my own. Literally yesterday after watching your video about cooking a whole week made me want to make my own mango sticky rice and it was amazing!!

Back in 2019, I spent 10 days in Vietnam. It is truly one of my favorites places. The food, the nature, and the people were AMAZING. I’m so glad you got to experience a gem of Southeast Asia.
It's so funny at the end when you went back to the same phở place as you did in the beginning. The place is called phở nhớ which very loosely translates to "phở remember." Even though I was born from Vietnamese parents outside of Vietnam, every trip there was memorable, and I'm excited to revisit as soon as I leave ❤
Im a Vietnamese and its the reason why i clicked on your vid. Its great, but I'm more interested in your travel, vacation. It feels comfortable when you do it alone, enjoy yourself, spend time yourself to do things you want to do. Ofcourse it might not be as fun as traveling with friends or your love ones, but.. I do hope I can enjoy travel alone like you one day. Solitude might not be good in a long run, but it will be great when sometime, just to things yourself and at your own pace. Hope you well
Amazing food from my home country! But I’m surprised you didn’t try bun bo hue while you were there. Excited to see what you’re going to try to make from this trip in your own kitchen.

As Vietnamese person, I have to say you know how to choose good food among a plethora of variety, these are signature cuisines that I would love to recommend but don't even know to make a list in detail
You forget to enjoy many dishes at roadside pubs (fish hotpot, crab, seafood...), especially in Vietnam, famous for delicious roadside snail dishes. I hope you come back and enjoy those cuisines
What a coincidence I am also visiting Vietnam for a month for the first time. Staying in Ho Chi Minh City. The vibe is pretty chill and the only thing I can't stand the heat and dumb mosquitos that are feasting on my legs for some reason. Coffee and Bun Bo every morning. Might consider visiting again someday.

Over charging actually rare now. It's been many many years since i last heard, saw or knew one.
they cant over charge. cuzz they price on their menu book.
Its so fun to see you go to all of these places and try new things. As someone who is disabled and can't travel, it's such a joy to watch your videos and "explore" different countries with you! Can't wait to see where in the world you go next!
Easily one of my favourite countries that I've travelled in. The people, the scenery and especially the food! Amazing!
Welcome to Vietnam! Hope you’ll have a great time and stay safe
@@fruitykrueger thank you! It’s so cool learning more about that part of my culture and meeting my relatives
@@lmabertdo you speak the language?
Cảm ơn❤
I am a Vietnamese and living in the US for 6 years. Watching your videos with all of my favorite food made me a special feeling. That’s homesick. Can’t wait to fly back to Vietnam. Bun cha, pho cuon, pho bo, nuoc mia, banh cuon…. Yummy… Anyways, you did a great video. Thank you for visiting my country.❤
Which Bun dish is he having? I want to order it from my local Vietnamese restaurant and i see "bun cha gio" is that the rigt one?
It's "bun cha" not the "bun cha gio" , that two thing are different. But I think u should try both cuz it kinda like the same to have "bun" dip in fish sauce with topping.@@elizabethw.454
@@dytthyoung thank you. I don't see it on the menu. Does it contain pork?
@@elizabethw.454 Yes it does. "Bun cha" is like "bun" dip in fish sauce and topping is the grilled pork. The "bun cha gio" is "bun",fish sauce and topping is fried spring rolls. You should call to ask the restaurant do thier "bun cha gio" contain grilled pork.
@@elizabethw.454 You can see how the spring rolls look like at 11:04 in his video.
Can't believe this is your first time in Vietnam. The way you eat and especially the food you eat, you did it like a local
I'm a Vietnamese and idk why but watching your video abt my country, my city makes me sooooo emotional. Like I'm abt to cry :
As a Vietnamese person, I have to honestly say that you look better than countless commercial actors. I also feel very proud and excited when foreign friends love our food. Thank you so much for this lovely video!
Props to you for solo traveling. Vietnam can be a lot when you're alone, but you did it dude!
You have to come to india
It can also be dangerous, crimes have peaked last 2 years when I was visiting family
@@Ev0Apex depends on where you stay actually, crimes are more seen in saigon more than in hanoi
@@huongmai9830 I never been to the North, only South ( Ca Mau, Saigon etc ) I know crimes are frequent in the South example Phone snatching, Knife threats inside Petrol stations at night. Motorcyclist thieves etc.
im a native and yet i still find it a lot when traveling so i have mad respect for him to be able to do it so well. Logan’s such a vibeeee
Being born and raised in Hanoi, one thing I do agree is that the sunset here looks absolutely gorgeous and I could never take my eyes off it. Thanks for sharing the experience and I'm glad you had a great trip!
As Vietnamese myself living in Finland I'm happy everyone love to explore Vietnam. Yes the traffic is little busy so you need to be careful. Hope you have awesome time, food etc.
Hello from Finland 🤭✌️
cool. Bạn sống ở Phần Lan ư?
Finland..
Seeing someone comes from a foreign country enjoy visiting my country this much makes me proud of my nation even moreee ❤ Thanks for visiting Vietnam, wish you could be back here for multiple times, Vietnam has far more enchanting things for you to explore 🥰
vietnam giờ hot mà😊
I love that you don’t put background music, just Hanoi’s sounds ❤️
Thank you Logan for experiencing Vietnam like a true local. It means a lot to me 🥰
I’m glad to hear your compliments about our cuisine and culture. I hope you’ll visit Vietnam again because there are much more things to explore that it would take you forever to see them all!
I am glad that you visited my home country Vietnam for the first time. ❤

@@logaagm Yea, heat wave in the north. You should go to the south in the summer, its just about 27-32 in day time. And in winter time you should go to the north, not so cold, just 5-15 Celius.
I hate Vietnam robbery tourism.
As someone who grew up with this beautiful culture (it’s my adopted culture, my moms ex husband is Vietnamese) I’m always so happy when people experience the culture for the first time
I love how peaceful this video is, the way he filiming is actually different than other vlogger when they review about food, not way too detail but it's short enough to make us feeling how delicious the food is. ❤
As a Vietnamese living in Melbourne Australia, somehow your UA-cam channel popped up on my recommendation and I truly enjoyed this video, making me miss Vietnam so much.
This probably the most Vietnam video exist on Internet, you captured the country in it's purest and absolute realistic.
Thanks for taking us with you! I hope you truly enjoy these trips and I’m so glad you’re always grateful to be able to do it! Your energy is genuine and you’ll be successful wherever you go🤞🏽🗣
the fact that you did that alone is courageous and impressive and i wish i have the courage to do that. you probably had time to enjoy peacefully and absorb the environment!
Vietnam is very safe, the people are friendly, don't be afraid.
I cannot describe how i feel when watching this, it's like he's a Westerner but he eats like an Asian (his appetite and how skillfully he uses cutlery), especially the way he uses the spoon and chopsticks for pho like a true Vietnamese :) how come he's so good? it's both mind-blowing and interesting for me to watch your video Logan~
i've never seen any of your videos before, but i'm vietnamese and have only been there in 2000 when i was 5. i appreciate that you didn't talk nonstop through out the video, really indulged in the food, and explained everything as best as you can without being ignorant or disrespectful. this was very soothing and entertaining to watch :) also, i didn't see any sauce in your pho. please try hoisin sauce with it, its the brown sauce. my favorite and makes a huge difference!
I want to go to vietnam, im a foodie and vietnamese cuisine is my fave. Love this vlog, no fancy stuff, no music over. Real and raw! Thank you! 😍
Please make Vietnamese food in one of your videos/shorts! Would love to see it and love all the Asia vlogs
I will very soon!!!🫶🫶
as a Vietnamese, im happy to see this!! not like other people, you enjoy this like a new home! also good choice of choosing Cong Ca Phe!! its pretty popular, its also deeply in Vietnamese culture! Choosing to stay near Tay Ho is a perfect desicion too!! also i prefer not to choose Mixue, its actually a Chinese store. you ate almost all of our popular foods!! love your vids!:D
Vietnam is the beautiful place with abundant food and drink. I've lived in Vietnam for more than 12 years and I love it so much
Good for you! Vietnam is such a friendly country with so much good food!! I wanna visit so badly too! Enjoy your time there while you can
I love your energy, seriously. I just started a new job at a bank and I learned to remain composure like you so tysm!! 🖤
Literally yesterday after watching your video about cooking a whole week made me want to make my own mango sticky rice and it was amazing!!
seeing raw footage like this is refreshing, shaky, not stabilized, wonderful
omg wow, i loved the style of your travel vlog! It felt very cozy and personal, like I was with you rather than just watching you. I'm Vietnamese but have never been to Vietnam. It looks like it might be a bit too chaotic for me, those motor bikes were driving me crazy too!! I wish I had your confidence to travel alone, it looks fun!
Bạn là người Việt đẻ ra ở thế giới bên kia à ? Quê hương là chùm khế ngọt đấy bạn ơi 😂🎉
sooo happy seeing how you are so open to new foods and unfamiliar environments!! wish more people were like you
My first time seeing one of your vids. Great stuff!
Thank you for showcasing my country Vietnam ❤
Next time, let's try Nem nướng, Phở gà, Bún ngan, Bún ốc, Bún sườn chua, Bún hải sản, Bánh xèo, Cháo lòng ❤❤🎉
And maybe bánh tôm Hồ Tây, bún riêu cua, some traditional home-cooked dishes such as thịt kho trứng, cá kho, thịt quay, tôm rang thịt, canh cua :))) and for dessert some kinds of Chè :)))
and the iconic southern breakfast cơm tấm, mì Quảng, bún bò for sure ❤️🔥
as a hanoian vietnamese it was so fun to see you appreciating and actually enjoying vietnamese food and culture! you have no idea how much it means!! thanks for visiting hanoi :) and yes its SO hot
I wanted to go to Hanoi when I visited Viet Nam in March, but it was so rainy that my friends up there came south instead. Hy vọng lần sau!
@@sazji Go to south in the summer, its a lot cooler
@@staliniosifvissarionovich5588 Yeah, March and April in the south are pretty hot! I mostly did fine but did enjoy the mid-afternoon nap back at the homestay. Đà Lạt was perfect though...like Seattle in July.
@@sazji if you're considering going to hanoi, i'd definitely recommend going during fall, about september and october. the weather is very nice around this time of year and overall hanoi is known for its beauty during fall :)
I just got back from Vietnam a few weeks ago visiting my grandparents I really miss all these places and thanks for visiting our Vietnam country :)
its funny cuz by seeing the way he ate those food, I feel like he’s gonna come back soon 🤣 when you fell in love with the food, you’ll fell in love with the country too and also the chaotic that goes along with it 💁🏻♂️❤️
I generally don’t watch more slow paced vlogs or vlogs in general, but I deeply enjoyed this. Makes me miss Vietnam quite a lot. The amount of coffee you drank was disturbingly relatable😂
I'm so happy to see a youtuber coming to Vietnam, it's my country, it's not modern and isn't great as USA or UK. You're always welcomed and thanks for visiting Vietnam.
Vietnam changes every time I visit. Such a beautiful country with lovely people ❤
Welcome to Vietnam! We always love friends from all over the world
I went to Vietnam and they are very friendly people ❤
Your video feels... mundane. In the best way possible. It feels so relaxing and actually feels like you're "winding off", just wandering around taking in the city. It's nice.
I actually appreciate you for saying stuffs that you actually like and stuffs that you don't though, It makes me have a feeling like you are really "enjoy" the experiences and there are much more weaknesses in the country, actually appreciate it bro, keep up the good work
i randomly came across your videos on youtube and i just have to say your vlogs are so peaceful and fun. Def a new fav vlogger to watch, also your personality is so precious !! safe travels Logan
Thank you for choosing Vietnam as your destination. We feel grateful and happy when you come to our country. Vietnam always welcomes you
Simple and honest review 😂 and the whole video is just so chill. Great to know that there is another new fan of our cuisine 🎉
Back in 2019, I spent 10 days in Vietnam. It is truly one of my favorites places. The food, the nature, and the people were AMAZING. I’m so glad you got to experience a gem of Southeast Asia.
Voah, I love the way you filmed your trip to Vietnam, looks like u had a good trip. Keep going man ❤️❤️❤️
I love love how you are sharing and experiencing Korea Thailand and Vietnam
I'm so impressed wiht how you can just travel to a foreign country on your own! I had to look up the Bun Cha after watching you eat that so much! 😊
Hope you well
so many of my favorite dishes in one video. I love this country and culture! thanks for sharing
Amazing food from my home country! But I’m surprised you didn’t try bun bo hue while you were there.
Excited to see what you’re going to try to make from this trip in your own kitchen.
always always love your videos. theyre very comforting ❤
hope you come to the Philippines soon, Logan.
I'm going to Vietnam in October. I am so so so so so much more excited after watching your video :))) thank you
Even I’m Thai I really want to visit Vietnam, their food looks amazing.
this video is a whole vibe, so calm, strangely calm. Glad that you had a great time here, and thank you for visited my country, my city. Accidentally subscribed, hehe
As Vietnamese person, I have to say you know how to choose good food among a plethora of variety, these are signature cuisines that I would love to recommend but don't even know to make a list in detail
i’m so happy you came to vn i love my cultur and i’m happy to see others enjoying my hom country!
You forget to enjoy many dishes at roadside pubs (fish hotpot, crab, seafood...), especially in Vietnam, famous for delicious roadside snail dishes. I hope you come back and enjoy those cuisines
omg everything you ate looked sooo good!!!!!! got me craving for vietnamese food!!
So satisfying to watch you enjoy your meals! What an adventure! Nice!
Seeing many people in the comment appreciate Vietnam, I'm melted. 🥰
Thank you for coming to our country, come back here to work and live in Vietnam someday hahaha. I really love the Westerners who travel to my country
I can watch you eat pho and bun cha for days. This vlog got me super hungry....all the food looks amazing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience in Vietnam!!!
I fell in love with Vietnamese food when I was there and I’m so happy that around that time Vietnamese food got really popular in my hometown and now there’s a bunch of places run by Vietnamese people. Because once you try it you can’t live without it. Btw which city is this?
it's Hanoi, my hometown :)
