I hope this game has lore, like a cutscene before we enter the elevator in the first room. The ending cutscene convinced me that Doors probably will have a lore soon

The fact the level at the end looks industrial,it can indicate that there’s a process sort of like the backrooms.They’re building an infinite hotel for infinite people,and with that hotel came entities.They must’ve all taken the elevator down,so maybe in chapter two there’s likely going to be another facility part.
Seriously, i love these kinda songs.. You've finished a game after so long and the music is chill and then all the instruments come in as something bad happens at the end

Damn. This ending hits HARD.
After 100 doors of terror and pain, you feel a sense of safety, but then you get sabotaged. And I love how figure has a part in this too. He literally risks his life to go after you and… Damn, that adds a whole new DIMENSION to the words ‘I’ll kill you if it’s the last thing i do’.

Hello, Mei here, I have come to make a small guide or atleast, a small note of information here to give anyone a fighting chance against some of the entities. Heads up. (*Spoilers*)
>"Rush" will come with the seem of a flicker of light, hide in a closet, typically, you can wait him out and avoid dying to the closet monster known as "hide" by listening for his approach and spotting him in the longer corridors.
>"Ambush" works the same way, except you don't want to see him, listen for his approach, and when he passes you, leave the closet and re-enter the closet.
>"Halt" is an entity that appears in a two-spilt long corridor, it is easy to beat, if it appears infront of you, do a complete 180 and run away, it will attempt to appear infront of you often so listen and look for the noise cues.
>"Screech" is easy enough, search drawers and all for any means of light and it will ensure that "Screech" will be less likely to approach you, but it may still do so. It only appears in dark rooms where light is vacant, so look around for "Screech" when you hear 'psst'.
>"Hide" is an entity that lurks in hiding spots, like under the bed or in a closet, "Hide" will attack you if you stay too long and will typically deal a third of your health, "Hide" becomes way more dangerous when paired with impatience and entities such as Rush or Ambush.
>"Eyes" is an entity of grotesque proportions, of which it appears randomlu in a room and is often easy to avoid if fast enough, it deals small damage at a rapid rate and it makes a noise when appearing, this noise is often followed by a purple / blue hue so be prepared for that.
>"Timothy" a friendly little spider who inhabits searchable spaces and will jump out at any unfortunate individual clueless enough to find him. The damage is small so do not let this little guy deter you from searching for bandages or lights etc.
>"The Figure" appearing only twice, this huge entity cannot see you, but it's other sense are far superior to your own, it tracks through sound and smell, however, crouching is your safest option when around him, as "The Figure" will catch you if you are running. You can hide in closets, but "The Figure" will attempt to hear you when inside, so be prepared to keep that heartbeat sane.
"Seek" the unrelenting force within the mansion / hotels ground that wishes to quickly snuff out any form of escape made by residents or intruders alike. He will only appear twice through a full solid run and will require quick reaction time, a strong sense of wits to further yourself without making the mistake of missing the door, and a strong heart. "Seek" will become far more enraged and there will be far more doors to pass, but with a good game plan and a strong set of wits and reaction time, you can beat him. (He also has my favourite ost from the game)

Jack is an entity that has a 5% chance of appearing in a closet and a 1% chance of spawning in a room.He can stop you from entering a closet,and will only give you a fright in his room.
Glitch is an entity that only appears when you’ve fallen behind from your friends,and will teleport you to the room they’re in,also giving you some damage.

It's not gonna be easy. As you know, at the doors it's already a little dark. But we are falling all the way down to the cave. Meaning there could be no lights. Or just weak torches. No AFK is allowed because torches are limited fuel.

After a long journey of many painful and unforgiving deaths, I finally made it to door 100. I looked back through the seemingly endless hallways of The Hotel, and took a deep breath.
and it opened, revealing what looked to be a big warehouse. a door with a different-looking knob sat to the left of the giant lever-operated door. As per usual, the first door didn't budge.
_oh, great. there's yet another key._ I thought.
and then I pulled the lever.
A familiar loud growl suddenly followed.
_no nO NO!_
The Figure seemed to be waiting for me at the top of a short flight of stairs, which he started to descend a lot faster than before.
Without thinking, I quickly ran and hid in the closet in the previous room, ready to control my breathing once again.
he stomped away after a few seconds, and I made a break for the room ahead.
an open elevator sat around the corner with a blank key on a crate inside.
I quickly snatched it, and tiptoed to the locked door.
A fusebox labeled "ELEVATOR POWER" was attached to the wall inside.
I opened the door, expecting it to have a familiar screen light up, but the fuses were missing.
I thought back to the familiar glowing sound coming from the previous halls in the warehouse.
_so I need to find all ten fuses and put them back in._ I thought as I snuck back into the halls where The Figure was roaming.
It wasn't easy, but I found 9 of them thanks to guiding light.
_But where's the last one?_ I wondered as I went back to the fusebox to insert the ones I had.
I had a flashback to the elevator room, where I heard the glistening again, now certain it was what I needed.
The Figure was still roaming the halls, but he was getting more and more frustrated that he couldn't find me.
I quickly snatched the last fuse off the shelf and ran back to the fusebox.
I heard a spark come from the other room, followed by a loud bellow, presumably one of pain.
then a crash.
The LED screen inside started flashing with numbers and a box that would be occasionally filled in.
I silently followed the instructions and flipped the switches to their on or off position, with The Figure seemingly getting closer and closer.
I started smelling smoke as I kept flipping the fuses, which was _definitely_ not a good sign. But I filled the last bar on the screen, and the screen shifted to say "ELEVATOR POWER ON"
I heard a loud banging and a familiar scream, which was full of anger and malice. I turned around and saw the door's structural integrity degrading rapidly. I charged out of the room, with the blind beast right on my tail as I ran towards the elevator.
I could feel him catching up.
_come on, come on!_
I made it to the elevator, smashed the button, and the gate slammed shut behind me. I turned around to see him shake the iron bars in fury, and a loud bellow echoed through the lift as I sat down and began to descend.
"Is...is it over?" I said out loud for the first time in what felt like forever. I started to hear a familiar melody. The elevator music that started it all, but this time it was slowed down, almost calming in a way.
but then the music shifted, and I started to hear a low buildup of powerful instruments.
I heard a loud crunch above me.
my eyes widened as i looked up to see The Figure land on the roof with a loud thud.
*and then he broke the chain.*
The elevator began to fall faster and faster. I tried to scream, but the music drowned out any attempts of calling for help.
I heard The Figure yell once more, but this time he seemed to be in agony again, as if he landed on something outside the elevator.
As the crates and lights began to float around the elevator, I desperately looked around for anything to help as my feet were lifted off the floor.
Panic. Fear. Desperation.
Then darkness claimed me as the elevator reached the bottom, the words *"TO BE CONTINUED"* being the last thing I heard.

I still can’t believe games like this and Apeirophobia are on ROBLOX. Roblox has mostly been known for lazy games but stuff like this gives me hope that Roblox can become known for having good games

if you notice, at the end of the cinematic we can se our user wich collides with the ceiling due to the pressure of the fall or mabey because the elevator reached his destinity (or mabey its just the camera rotation
I can still understand what you said but you're actually correct, if you closer to our character, they eventually fall "up" or launched into the ceiling because the elevator hit "rock bottom", the camera rotation is basically adds it to see what happened there..

It really is relaxing to hear
This shit made me cry. Like.. for some reason, it just sparked the emotions of hopelessness. Like I just saw something so terrible I can’t explain it. Like i just saw the end of the world or something. Like thinking you escaped but your escape is actually an escape.. to something worse. Like you’re in the threshold of an infinite maze of terror. Like the strings of your heart have just broke and you’re falling into the unknown.
This music makes me feel a sense of victory, pride and sometimes anxiety. At the climax that sparks a thought: "You did a great job!"

The figure comes clomping towards the elevator and you begin to panic.
You get into the elevator and quickly slam your fist on the red button.
The doors slowly close shut as you see the figure through the other side, slamming himself on the doors.
But they don’t budge.
A feeling of relief courses through your veins as you rest in the descending elevator. You finally get to go home, you thought.
You can finally relax, and sit on the couch with no worries at all.

Wait.
Your not done yet.
You look up as you hear a THUMP from the ceiling.
It’s the figure.
He rips a single chain from the elevator, causing it to go faster than usual.
He falls into a mine that appears whilst the elevator is falling.
You start to panic. “No, this can’t be happening!” you scream as the elevator zooms.
Other chains start to rip off when the first one was ripped off, like a chain reaction.
The elevator starts to rumble. It shakes as the furnish inside tumbles around and then-
…
…
Wake up.
Your eyes began to open as you see yourself on top of rubble and broken metal. You remove it off of yourself and get up.
You look ahead of you and see something.
Something worse than death.

I could imagine the ending of the second floor being us, the player, gets pursued by the figure one more time before escaping to the front door of the hotel lobby. You drive home in desperation vowing to never cone back ever again, little did you know, your home was about to be get a little more crowded.

As you walk into this mysterious room with yellow wallpapers and that neverending sound coming from the light, you realise you have entered... another universe. You entered the backrooms.

picture this, you've just escaped a whole row of life threatening things, seek, ambush, figure, rush, etc, and you finally get in a elevator, thinking to yourself, "I Survived" and sitting down, resting, then when you thought it was over, figure jumps down, causing the elevator to fall and once again, you are in a life threatening thing..
After you finish the puzzle. Suddenly, you hear a huge banging on the door, you realize that the pounding on the door is a sign that the figure is trying to destroy the door behind you, you then run as fast as you can and finally the figure manages to destroy the door holding it, the figure also chasing you at a very fast speed. You run very fast without even looking back, because if you do that, the figure will catch you and kill you, you run and then you see a light in an elevator, you try to reach for the light with all your power while trying to escape from the figure . You finally made it to the lift and you see the figure wants to grab you while also desperately trying to bang the door. Then the elevator slowly descends down, you still hear his angry and desperate voice because he didn't catch you. When the lift came down, you stretched your legs and breathed a sigh of relief, you managed to escape from that hotel. At that moment, you are still traumatized by the all the entities that is trying to kill you. You feel very tired, because you have been running for so long. So tired, you almost fell asleep. But, you look up and you see the figure jump from the top floor, you panicked and screamed, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" the figure then destroys one of the cables of the elevator, then it jumps to save itself, the elevator then descends at a very great speed, so fast you fly against gravity. At that moment, you realize that All of This...

What I would like is a version of this song that is expanded on and turned into a complete track, rather than just the 54 second version we have here that specifically only exists for the end game sequence

I said as I close the fuse box and quickly run back to the elevator, so that I can escape.
But since there's no time to wait, that's because the Figure heard you running, remember that this thing is blind but highly sensitive of hearing and vibration, so it will kill if you're too slow to get back to the elevator again.
"Hah! Take that Figure!" I said to the Figure once it arrived at the elevator but the door closed shut, preventing it to get in...
Now, you can finally take your breath with relief as the elevator goes down, you think that it is the only way to get out of the hotel and finally be free...
"Wow...what an adventure and also... terrifying too.. I can't wait to see what's down there, hope there is an escape exit somewhere than up..."

Oh just as you thought you're safe and sound, you hear something.....falling...on top of the elevator...
"Huh? What's going on there?" I then looked up of the metal net ceiling that covers the top area of the elevator... "No.... It can't be!"
Suddenly, the Figure landed on top of the elevator, which is very bad. As you panicked and confused right now, it then begins to cut the cable, which is connected the power and the main connection of the elevator, The Figure moves itself aside and unexpectedly found an opening to escape it's fate with you.
"NO WAY! OH NO NO NO NO! PLEASE HELP! HELP! AAAAHHH!!" I screamed and cried in fear, that Figure, please this is not the end please!
The support of the elevator would also break afterwards, causing it to fall faster than it used to be, then the elevator and you in it, will began to shake violently like if there's an earthquake, you know what happens next, as the elevator falls faster and faster until-

You hear a faint growl.
As you look up, you see..
*The Figure…*
As you slowly start realizing, *THERE IS NO ESCAPE*
The figure starts to break one of the wires for the elevator.
Since that wire was for moving, caused all the other wires to break making the elevator go WAY faster.
You scream in agony in hopes you still don’t have to go through another 100 doors.
You slowly start realizing, *there was never a limit to how many doors there are in this hellhole.*
You see.. your nightmare., there are now 100 more doors you have to go through.
You start sobbing, as you open door 101.
You see the lights flicker, THAT is not a good sign.
Quickly, you hide in the nearest closet.
A red light passes you at insane speed.
You exit the closet, and you open door 102.
You see a torch and some bandages.
You say “I might need these, i’ll grab them incase.”
You open door 103 and, oh no, it’s a dark room.
You use your spare lighter from the hotel to light the torch.
You hear loud footsteps as you try to rush towards the door as soon as possible.
You made it past door 103.
Nothing special is happening.
You reach door 131, and you see eyes on the wall.
You think “Don’t tell me, i have to go through a chase here too?”
You roughly open door 132.
After reaching door 138, you see some creature with black eyes, red body, and it’s holding a knife.
You run for your life avoiding many obstacles such as, planks, crates, maybe even lava.
You made it, but being exhausted, you grab a energy bar to give you energy.
You open door 145 and the lights flicker again.
You walk to a closet slowly and you enter.
The “red light creature” passes you again.
Nothing special happens.
The light flickers, but this time, theres a blue light.
You open door 150, and what? *The Figure!?!?*
You run towards a closet and the figure checks it.
You try your best to keep your beats as quiet as possible.
He goes away.
The exit also has a 5-digit keypad.
You find papers with a digit on it.
You figure out the code and run towards the keypad.
You type the code.
You open the door and yell “YES!”
The figure heard it and lunges towards the exit.
You scream “OH CRAP!”
You run out and you’re free.
You realize you only went through 150 doors, isn’t there supposed to be 200?
You don’t question yourself and leave the place.
*THE HUNT/BACKDOORS*
You see a elevator labeled as "MAINTENANCE AREA"
You start to get really mad and you ask "HOW MANY FLOORS ARE IN HERE?!?" .
You go into the elevator and go to floor 0.5, and you see a different room, one with gates and for some reason, the door has a timer on it.
You grab the key and open door -50.
You see a lever with a ticking time on it.
You pull the lever and the timer resets.
You start to realize you are in the deep parts of the hotel.
You continue.
At door -42, you see a strange black figure, you look at it and your eyes get damaged. You quickly look away.
At door -36, the lights start to flicker. You quickly enter a closet and a green light passes you, thinking that it went away, you go out of the closet.
The green light buzzes back and turns pink, it kills you.
You scream in pain.
You see the words "YOU DIED" infront of you.
Suddenly your eyes flash yellow.
A yellow light tells you that you died to someone called "Blitz".
The yellow light gives you a revive of some sort and revives you.
You open door -35 to see the timer is on 0:00.
You instantly run to the door, but its too late.
A red entity runs to you and kills you.
The yellow light sees you again.
The entity you died to this time is called "Haste".
Later, you go to a locked room or door -21.
You open a door with no sign, quickly, the door pulls you in trying to suffocate you with no oxygen, you somehow find a way to escape, and call the entity "Vaccum".
You reach door 0000, you see a potion, using your coins, you buy it.
You open door 0000 to be revealed back in the hotel at door 01.
*THE END*

I really there is a deep lore about this game, like the reason you came to the hotel and such. I hope chapter 2 can explain that more
These songs are REALLY cacthy to me, just gives me a different feeling about this game, which makes me want to play it every time i hear these songs.
I honestly don't think there should be a second chapter. The ending feels too perfect.
this open ending in my opnion is not done in a good way

Holy cow that went hard
I've beaten the game 26 times, but every time the song plays it makes me sad, because my friends always die but they don't leave, they just stay spectating and I'm the only one who can beat the game and it makes me sad They have even told me that they have been crying because I have a friend who causes her sadness, nostalgia, etc. at the end of games. So yes, one day they will play the game with me and we will celebrate together ;)

ufff, I can't listen to this song without wanting to cry XD because, when doors was giving that cosmetic for the avatar for free in that parody of doors, I did suffer trying to get it (more than 34 times I died between room 200 to 247 in hard mode) and, when finally at the 35th attempt I finally reached room 250, I cried with happiness when I heard this song xD It was worth all that suffering
