  • Today we upgrade the rear-view mirror in the 8ball. The old one was a mess. Delaminated and just gross. I picked up a mirror from an older tundra in the junk yard and it's a crazy easy install.

I used a mirror from a Saturn Vue, which added compass and temperature as well as auto dimming. If anyone goes this route, don't forget to get the temp sensor up front behind the bumper and in front of the radiator of the Saturn.

Hell yeah. My rear view mirror is original and the coating is fading, not as bad as yours, but it bothers me that it always look dirty. Never really drive at night so auto-dimming isn't a big deal to me but this helps in replacing it!

Nice! In that case you grab just any nice one you see and pop it on and off in a jiffy!

I was hoping this video was gonna be one of those new screen versions tapped into a backup camera.

Here ya go brother, did that one 7 years ago. The screen is antiquated at this point but the wiring should be the same!! 💪🏻 ua-cam.com/video/Mtc_iNAK4rE/v-deo.htmlsi=eHRj8Zkfn--RQES8

Ryan, glad to see you back.. FYI for you and your audience. I have a 96 Dodge RAM 1500 3.9 that was back firing, turning off at random ( while driving or stopped at a light) and losing compression. For four months I was reading, watching videos and asking questions on what it could be... I've changed sparkplugs, wires, distributor cap blah blah blah.. turned out to be the Idle Air Control Valve. Changed it and after a couple of weeks "re-learning", She Runs like a champ!!! Again, if you run into this problem, try that first.
Welcome back. Enjoy a cold one on me.
