Thanks for a great review! I have this saw and love it. I used to have a gas chain saw which was a pain to start, very heavy and unwieldy so unless you need to cut very large trees this will handle 90% of an average homeowners needs.

Thanks to this video, I was able to open mine and clean it because on day 1 (after only 3 skinny trees cut) the chain popped off the bar. Now I'm finger crossed that I put everything back correctly and hoping it will work, LOL.

Every chain saw has adjustment for chain tension. I never trust the adjustment to stay, check by sight every time you stop a cut, especially during the first few cuts, as the cold saw warms up.

Thank you for this video. Even though I have a Homelite saw, this was very i formative.😊

You have referred more than once to a clutch. Does this saw actually HAVE a clutch?

What about the adjustable oiler on the bottom of the saw?

To me most important info is MPS chain speed, HD list it at 21 which is pretty good, but I just cant stand that upside down/sideways battery placement. It works good on their skill-saw but not chainsaw....

    That chain is REALLY dull!
